Just a thought as far as Roger keeping up in Stone Cold Crazy, there is always Rufus you know .... hmmm? Could be an interesting combination with Runnin'. Of course, I never expect to hear that one live either. It would be a great combo -- and I think that Runnin' might be the Adam fan pick for the one track that they would most like to hear them perform. I think the best combo might be ABTD and Trespassing. Both seem unlikely to me. ** If I could pick one Adam song for Queen + Adam Lambert to preform -- my today's choice is "Aftermath". It would be beautiful, and we do not have a great rock version of this song. (I do not like the album version of it, I love many of the live and the acoustic version.) "Aftermath"

Nica, Love the AI recaps from TWOP. How do you get to the comments section? Please keep posting. I am loving the trip down memory lane. I didn't google Adam until late in the season so many of the pre idol stories are new to me. you go here: forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/forum/539-old-product-previous-seasons/and then look for the thread you are interested in. Yeah, when someone is singing that high in the upper register, it requires more vocal tract opening to allow the sound to come out unimpeded. Basically, since it's higher and there is just more sound, there needs to be more space created to allow it to resonate properly and in a relaxed way. And on that note, you can tell by watching that Adam definitely has KILLER vocal technique.

What about the bonding, I thought it would be easier with a kitten? What if we adopt a year old cat and it doesn't like us? *sniff-sniff Cats are human loving and will bond fairly easily as a rule...unless they have been really traumatized....and that would be pretty evident pretty quickly. My current feline lover is a biggish boy I claimed after he could not get along with the apha cat in his household...who just happened t be a Serval so 3 or 4 times his size!! He was 6 years old already so took him a few weeks to acclimate but that is all...and now he is as loving and contented as any cat can possibly be. He is close to 9 now.. and I look forward to many more years of loving from him. eta...oops...I had to leave mid post to cut a clients hair...then came back to finish. I can delete if you want.....sorry Shh, I'm busting my ass to connect the topic with Adam:))) Basically, we need a pet who likes cuddling, because that's what we do, the kids and I. We even cuddled the goldfish:))) |

We managed to outlive a goldfish, a hamster and a budgie, and each time I say no more pets. It's too sad. Mitzie the hamster died two years ago, and our beloved Tihomirka the birdie died two months ago and every time I peel a carrot or an apple, I start crying, they loved eating that. The hamster and the budgie, not the goldfish. I can't even imagine what it would feel like to lose a cat or a dog. I'd die. So, we are thinking of getting a cat (just don't say anything), but I prefer dogs, but our apartment is too small, but we can just get a really small dog, right. This is not going to end well, I just know it. There are a lot of dogs that are good in an apartment -- many good lists and info sites available online -- a couple good choices are Yorkshire Terrier and Havanese (wonderful dogs but expensive -- but worth every penny.) Most of the small dog breeds live 15+ years. One long-lived larger dog is the Standard Poodle. I thought I was a "dog" person so I did not really understand how varied cat breeds were until recently. There are some excellent cat choices and I think the idea of "cat" people vs. "dog" people is a be too simplistic.  I am more of a dog person but have found that there are some cat breeds that I really love. Manx, American Curl, Bombay. My favorite are Ocicats.  I am very allergic to cats so jealous of anyone who can have them. |
