does it come with a backrub too? a little ot but some people can not hear Adam in his full glory.. DH has been suffering from Vertigo and had a hearing test. While it doesn't affect his day to day life, so we had no way of knowing, he cannot hear in certain upper registers. now i understand what he was trying to tell me but didn't understand himself. A lot of Adams voice turns into static for him when he hears him live....  awww...too bad your DH is having this problem! Can it be treated? ....but I can't help going with this juvenile reaction: like I always suspected - those who don't appreciate ADAM's VOICE have a hearing problem .... What I was really saying (in a diplomatic loving wifey way) It doesn't affect his day to day life just Adam's voice reception. Once you lose that part of your hearing, it is gone forever and is not why he has bouts of vertigo, more tests. Yeah for earplugs at our concerts so we don't end up not being able to hear Adam! Really brought that point home to me, literally. |

What did the girl say that was wrong? Seems like an overreaction to an innocent fan response IMO. I know the twitter interactions to Shoshanna aren't always so innocent. |

The other consideration regarding releasing old Queen material and Freddie cuts is, perhaps back in the day they were not deemed to be good enough, or to fit their other songs on an album, or whatever. There were reasons they did not see the light of day back then. Just like Adam has said he recorded about 50 songs for the TP era. When asked if we might get some on the new album he basically said "Nope."
Then there is the "fun" factor. For life-long performers like Brian and Roger, to perform on stage for an enthusiastic audience is nirvana. The touring may be uncomfortable and exhausting. The time away from home, family and friends frustrating. The demands on one's body and health extreme. But all of that disappears when the lights go up, the crowd cheers, and the music starts. It is magic for the audiences AND magic for the performers. Compare that to working in a studio refining a sound on a long ago recorded song. Yeah, the touring is going to win out.
Finally, this is probably a "one last time" experience for Brian and Roger. How long can their bodies stand up to the rigors of a tour and nightly 2 hour concerts? Plus, Adam is available, willing, and able this summer. Next year? Who knows. (Hopefully not.) Brian has said this is the closest folks will ever get to a Queen concert back in the days with all the OTT theatricality, sets, music, costumes, etc. They are going "big!" That they can do that health wise, frontman wise, and promoter demand wise is perhaps unique. Carpe diem. Seize the day!

I would never ever think to be critical of someone facing forward in their life and work as opposed to doing/redoing/tweaking something that took place decades ago. If you respect someone (as I respect Brian and Roger) then in my view you sort of have to respect their own desires as regards how they live their lives and spend their time and energy. Somehow the word "entitled" keeps coming up and it's not always in regard to Glamberts  |

Looks to me like Shoshanna overreacted. The fan is French and loves Adam, and loves Adam on Glee. I think Shoshanna does a great job except that she encourages Adam fans to Tweet her, and Tweets out bits of info, but they she doesn't like the conversations that ensue. If you leave a crack in the door that let's Adam back on Glee, fans will see the light streaming in. IMO she should just live with it and scroll. |
