Just got an E mail for Fleetwood Mac at The Forum. Their VIP, which includes a M&G, are $750 does it come with a backrub too? a little ot but some people can not hear Adam in his full glory.. DH has been suffering from Vertigo and had a hearing test. While it doesn't affect his day to day life, so we had no way of knowing, he cannot hear in certain upper registers. now i understand what he was trying to tell me but didn't understand himself. A lot of Adams voice turns into static for him when he hears him live....  |

rpeura - I think you are a shining star on QOL. You are an example of how to act as a fan of Adam in a hostile state  You keep your sense of humor and you can even laugh with the trolling a bit, but you stay supportive and it wins over everyone. Even that Adam haters tend to like you  Like you I tend to try to be extra diplomatic here because I know where I am. I don't hide that generally I'm here for QAL and while I like Adam, I was not a big fan of Trespassing. But I know I don't need to say that all the time to throw it in people's faces. And when some question my talking Queen on here instead of Adam, I simply smile and understand that not everyone here likes Queen either. Lucky for me it is far more Queen friendly here than it is Adam friendly there I've lurked on QOL and some are not only anti-adam but they are also anti-Brian and Roger. It is a very hostile place IMO. |

I come and read at this forum almost every day first thing in the morning at 6am or therebouts ... sometimes it is a lot of like groundhog day, or a repeat of arguments and excitement and discoveries that I have read/experienced sooooo many times, I sometimes wonder what year it is .... An then on special occasions I get a delightful surprise (other than the AdamNews I am yearning for or great arguments among the Atopins or aaaahm ... tons of stuff ... ) .... ok, it is not 6am but I had not really followed up for 3 days now so this is my check in before lights out) ... I like this picture/story, it gives me real pleasure and a great sense of community once again, even outside of Atopia: WE ARE NOT ALONE!!!  |

I'm putting this out again because it would be nice if more people got copies. The latest news says that TWOP articles will be archived but the people who run the forums say that the forums will still be disappearing at the end of May. TWOP site - get copies Ok history gals and guys. I've got our TWOP threads copy issue fairly solved using what they call an "offline browser" to download each topic. Try it out on some smaller threads before moving to Adams. You can get the 30 day trial at www.metaproducts.com/ (I used the Pro version). I'd suggest Q3 or someone purchase a copy for future backups here at ATOP. It creates html files with working links so things actually get stored in folders like a regular web site and not just as files. To give you an idea of speed, I downloaded Adam's Take Two thread of 500 pages in three minutes. To take advantage of my day and a half of experimentation you can DM me here at ATOP with your email and I'll send you screenshots of how to set it up and create the macro so that it will get all the pages from each topic.
