For those who may not know, according to wikipedia, zorbing is:
the recreation or sport of rolling downhill inside an orb, generally made of transparent plastic. Zorbing is generally performed on a gentle slope, but can also be done on a level surface in pubs and clubs around the UK, permitting more rider control. In the absence of hills some operators have constructed inflatable, wooden or metal ramps. There are two types of orbs, harnessed and non-harnessed. Non-harness orbs carry up to three riders, while the harness orbs are constructed for one to two riders. Double-harness spheres have different slope requirements, and must only be operated in specific locations. The longer runs are approximately half a mile. The first zorbing site was established in Rotorua, New Zealand, by David and Andrew Akers.

[/b]Talented singer and musician Adam Lambert is one of the celebrities that we particularly admire because of being fashionable in every sense of a word.
His hairstyles, for one, are already an impression. One perfect example is his casual medium straight hairstyle. This hairstyle talks about perfection! It’s all about his dark locks styled in a spiky and upward appearance. How to achieve such hairstyle? Well, Adam’s stylist uses a light texturizing lotion on his hair before drying it for a controlled finish. Overall, it looks really fantastic!
His Suit Style
Adam always talks vogue. He likes to wear something different and unique. And he’s also in for some rugged suit styles. As for his shoe preferences, he likes to wear boots and canvas shoes most of the time.
His Makeup
The pop star is known to be prominently donning a strong but dazzling makeup. He says in one of his interviews, “I wear makeup for work but when I’m at home I try not to wear it too much to give my face a break.”
His Favorite Perfumes
Adam says he can’t live a day without wearing two of his favorite perfumes: Dior Homme and A Spicy Earthy Vanilla scent by Loree Rodkin.
Adam Mitchel Lambert is an American singer, songwriter, and stage actor. He was born on January 29, 1982 in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. The 2014 "Part-of-the-World" Queen + Adam Lambert Tour Countdown!
4.9.14 by Q3
The countdown moves on and the start of this epic tour gets closer. Only 71 days to go!
#71 "One Vision" (1985)
Written by Queen, concept by Roger Taylor.
Released as a single on November 4, 1985 (UK), November 20, 1985 (US) . Released on A Kind of Magic on
The poetic B-side of the “One Vision” single is “Blurred Vision”, an even more distorted remix.
This song proves that Queen could rock, even in 1985. This is Queen at the heavy metal most awesomest! This is a song that Spinal Tap could have covered. Check out the extended long play version. It is certainly an "11".
And this is a song that I think Queen could pull out for the upcoming tour. It is a perfect arena song. I would be pleased if this is how they opened the shows – exactly how they opened The Magic Tour in 1986 (considered by many to be the best tour of Queen “arena era”.)
The Magic Tour started with these 4 songs....
One Vision (never played by Queen in North America, Q+PR performed it 5 times but not in NA)
Tie Your Mother Down
In the Lap of the Gods... Revisited
Seven Seas of Rhye

Queen was inspired to write this by their Live Aid appearance in 1985 - millions of people sharing one vision of a better world.
When the band was approached to perform at Live Aid, they were in a rut and reticent to appear. But after their show-stopping performance, they re-entered the studio with renewed energy. They were back in Munich (a place they had previously hit trouble during the Hot Space sessions), but this time spent a lot of time working in the studio, not being distracted by drugs or other distractions - unlike the earlier sessions.
"One Vision" contains mysterious and distorted beginning vocals (which on the album and extended versions, also appear throughout Roger Taylor's drum section and in the end), most prominently the vocals retained in the single version.
The most prominent distorted vocals relay new lyrics when played forwards—they say, "God works in mysterious ways... mysterious ways...". It is clearly shown during the portions of the studio recording session of "One Vision" on both the Magic Years documentary and the DVD Greatest Video Hits II thatFreddie Mercury sings the line.
There are various other distorted vocals as well but what exactly they say is not yet known. Even more distorted vocals appear in "Blurred Vision", the B-side remix.
The progressive synthesizer music from the last part of the intro is repeated in the I had a dream section, complete with the last elongated note.
The ending or outro varies from version to version. In the single version, it's a simple Vision vision vision... echo, while the album version adds to it some synthesiser music, a random bit of distorted vocals and the prominent beginning distorted vocals. "Blurred Vision" adds an even longer version of the elongated note ending the normal song's intro, and a random distorted vocal.
Odd bit and best part: The final line of the song (in the studio, live, and "Blurred Vision" versions, in the album and extended versions the line before the final God works in mysterious ways... Mysterious ways...) is "Gimme fried chicken," " although the lyrics say "one vision". This was the result of trying to come up with the proper wording of the song, and since it was not working, Freddie Mercury at some point introduced words that had nothing to do with the song for fun. The "Gimme fried chicken" survived, as a humorous note within the deep and inspired contents of the song.
There are 4 versions of the recording:
4:02 (Single version)
6:28 (12" 'extended vision')
5:11 (Album version)
4:38 (Classic Queen version) Q3 note: this is so similar to the single version, I did not include it below.

The Making of “One Vision”
This is a long and detailed video about the making on “One Vision”. This is not a promo video created to create an impression of a band, but a documentary. It is a real version of how Queen worked on this song with lots of almost candid footage and some very interesting commentary from Freddie.
The band were reportedly unhappy with having a documentary crew around, feeling that it forced them to act up to the camera and didn't act naturally as themselves in the studio. Nevertheless, it has been included on many video compilations and the re-release of the A Kind of Magic album.
All four band members helped write this. Most Queen songs were written separately, mostly out of a desire to keep writing credits to themselves - Brian May has often hinted in interviews that he was quite possessive of his own songs. But this also made sure their songs didn't all sound alike. The idea of writing a song together came from Freddie Mercury. He rang the other three members and asked them to come to the studio, where the writing and recording sessions were taped.
The 5th man in the video is the producer, Reinhold Mack.

“One Vision” The Lyrics
The band decided that the song would be credited to all four of them, but it was basically composed by Brian May (chords) and Roger Taylor (lyrics). Freddie Mercury was in charge of production and arrangements, and he polished what the others composed.
In an interview with Roger Taylor in (video)"the making of" this song, he claimed the song was originally about MLK, Jr., but of course by the time it was all said and done, the lyrics had been changed and Roger even said "I don't even know now what the hell the song is about."
“One Vision"
God works in mysterious ways, mysterious ways
Hey, one man one goal ha, one mission
One heart one soul just one solution
One flash of light yeah, one God, One vision
One flesh one bone
One true religion
One voice one hope
One real decision
Wowowowowowo gimme one vision
Hey
No wrong no right
I'm gonna tell you there's no black and no white
No blood no stain
All we need is one world wide vision
One flesh, One bone
One true religion
One race, One hope
One real decision
Wowowowowo woh yeah oh yeah oh yeah
I had a dream
When I was young
A dream of sweet illusion
A glimpse of hope and unity
And visions of one sweet union
But a cold wind blows
And a dark rain falls
And in my heart it shows
Look what they've done to my dream, yeah
One vision
So give me your hands
Give me your hearts
I'm ready
There's only one direction
One world one nation
Yeah one vision
No hate, No fight
Just excitation
All through the night
It's a celebration
Wowowowowowo yeah
One one one one one one one
One vision hey one vision one vision one vision one vision
One flesh, One bone
One true religion
One voice, One hope
One real decision
Gimme one light, yeah
Gimme one hope, hey
Just gimme, ha
One man one man
One bar one night
One day hey hey
Just gimme gimme gimme gimme
Fried chicken vision vision vision vision vision
Live performances
This song was made to be performed.
The ending in the 1986 live versions is a flourish which varies from performance to performance but still maintaining the same basic pattern, although parts of it to the synthesizer music from the album version's ending.
The live performances of the song added an additional section in the beginning of the song, right after the guitar riffs without the percussion, and a big finale, which included ad-libbed vocals by Mercury. The ad-libbed vocals were not present on all performances though, the most notable being the performance at the Maimarktgelände in Mannheim, on June 21, 1986.
youtu.be/HiwBylye05w
Also, the live versions of the song included a different version of the intro, which starts like the single version intro, but later changes into the album version intro, but repeats the section after the vocals "Ii" near the end.
The VHS version of the July 12, 1986 Wembley show has the first part of the middle instrumental section of the studio version of Brighton Rock instead of the initial distorted vocals.
youtu.be/ZIqnNPfULVI
The version of the song from the July 11, 1986 Wembley show is now included on the Queen Live at Wembley Stadium 25th Anniversary Edition DVD and the A Kind of Magic 2011 Deluxe CD. This version of the intro has never been used with a studio version of the song so far.

Music video
The music video to "One Vision" mainly showed the band recording the song at Musicland Studios in Munich and was the first to be directed and produced for Queen by Austrian directors Rudi Dolezal and Hannes Rossacher, also collectively known as DoRo. DoRo and Queen developed a fruitful working relationship which would result in numerous acclaimed and award-winning videos (for "Innuendo" and "The Show Must Go On", among others).
The video also featured a "morphing" effect of the band's famous pose in 1975's "Bohemian Rhapsody" video to a 1985 version of the same pose. The video even shows John Deacon on the drums. There was also a video made to match the 12" inch version of the song which appears on Queen Rocks The Video VHS and Queen: Greatest Video Hits 2 DVD.

Single B-side: “Blurred Vision”
An extensively remixed version of the song, titled "Blurred Vision" appears as the B-side of both the 7" and 12" single releases. It is exactly the same version on both formats. This is primarily an extended and completely different (but not in structure) version of Taylor's drum section from the A-side. However, it retains the original ending, albeit with a longer version of the music from the end of the original's intro plus an additional non-distorted sound over the final vocals "Vision vision vision vision..." (which are like those in the single version). It also repeats the existing famous distorted vocals, and adds new, less-prominent distorted vocals.
