The Blu-Ray is the BEST!
The analog vs. digital debate can rage on -- vinyl vs. disc/digital but there is one thing that is clear.... > Vinyl is most collectible and coolest. Quality of listening experience depends on how you play it. Even with extreme care, quality degrades every time you play a vinyl disc. > Digital is different but more stable. The 2011 remaster is great. The Blu-ray Pure Audio Disc of "Night at the Opera" is the best. Audio is taken from the original master tapes and mastered in 24-bit/96kHz resolution with a choice of three sound formats: PCM, Dolby True HD, or DTS-HD Master Audio. It is the only version that has the fidelity originally experienced in the studio.
Most people do not have a Blu-ray player. The players are now multi-format players. Here are some good options -- www.cnet.com/topics/blu-ray-players/best-blu-ray-players/

Wish the U.S. would jump on the Adam music bandwagon. Since radio has stubbornly refused to play him, a well-done commercial or two might be the thing to introduce his amazing music to the masses here.

Queen Official @queenwillrock 1h Queen - I Want To Break Free (Official Lyric Video)...our first official lyric video! www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUOtCLOXgm8 Queen - I Want to Break Free (Official Lyric Video) Queen Official Published on Apr 1, 2014 Queen - I Want To Break Free (Official Lyric Video) Subscribe to the official Queen channel now for more official lyric video's coming every month! bit.ly/Subscribe2Queen[snickers slightly] Ok I shouldn't, but I do, find this rather amusing. Mostly because Queen has SO MANY lyric videos already out in YouTube land done by the fans. I know this is the *official* one, but it feels like the proverbial shutting the barn door after the cows have already wandered out (a decade ago). Funny thing -- and y'all might have noticed I like Queen a bit -- but I really am not a fan of this song -- particularly the recording. 1. I prefer Queen with guitar breaks vs this song with the recorded synth keyboard break version. Many fans HATED the synths...and Brian May was not a fan either: This song sort of became the symbol that Queen was no long Queen -- and that shift is part of what ended Queen's run in the US. (Started in 1982 -- but this was pretty much the end in the US. (They synth solo was played by Fred Mandel.) 2. Even reading what John says this song is suppose to be about, I do not get it. Queen bass player John Deacon said he wrote this from the male perspective of the women's liberation movement. Really? >> I have always suspected that the issues this song had it the US were because no one understood what the song was supposed to be about. (And if you have to explain it, the lyrics have an issue.) And because of the non-Queen synth break. And because of the god-aweful music video. >> This is a song that split the Queen fandom in the US when it was released, before the MTV video appeared....for some it was principle....Queen was one of the bands that said NO SYNTHS then they release a single with a synthetic music break feature. Here's two fan comments that were posted back to back on SongFacts.com that capture the split... But is anyone can explain what these lyrics have to do with "women's liberation" I would love to read it... Because of the association with Freddie, and because of the cross-dressing video, and because the release coincided with the AIDs epidemic in the US...IWTBF ended up more associated with Gay Liberation. And frankly, it fits better. JMHO YMMV

I couldn't believe that Pharrell had trouble getting his hit'Happy' on radio at the beginning..He needed to have people push for him.. see Ellen video .

Ok, WHO is the awesome person/team doing all the heavy lifting getting Adam's music on tv?? So far we've got: LMD - Lipton...GLOBAL Underneath - British tv promo for "The Smoke" IIHY - Korean beer commercial (with Psy!) for Hite DryFinish-D Shady - Korean car ad for Kia Did I miss any? ETA: Hey Q3 (or whoever wants to chime in!), what do you think Adam's financial compensation might be for these? With the possible exception of IIHY, Adam has writing credits on all of these songs. I've seen all of these except the Underneath promo for "The Smoke". Do you have a link for this one? Thanks.
