I don't care how but I wish that Adam's voice would be heard on US radio (a lot). To achieve that, LMD is the best option at the moment IMO. I'm sure that Avicii track gets radio play and it's a great song. As for Adam's own music the radio situation is more nebulous - and there's no time for an extensive promo tour now. The possible single would be just thrown out there which is not good. I think the launch should be done properly. Media hype for the new music is needed in advance - and there's no sight of that yet. Also I don't think it would be enough to do a couple shows and a handful of interviews just before Queen - and reply to questions about the tour. It's possible that they might try that in case LMD is not released but I wouldn't bet on it. There's time after Queen to do the launching on their terms and do promo the way they want it. However, I do like 'Addicted To You' very much and from Avicii's standpoint, it would be a shame if it's not released in the US. For Adam, it's a bad thing 'Hey Brother' has been so slow in climbing the charts because it might lead to ATY release now and LMD release sometime Aug/Sep and that could clash with Adam's new music launch plans. I think the clash should be avoided but on the other hand, Adam cannot wait forever - especially when there's life outside the US too. Maybe he'll go with a start elsewhere and work gradually to the US a little bit later, perhaps a difference of two months for example would do the trick - unfortunately it would postpone album release also... We'll just have to wait and see, first to learn what'll be Avicii's next single in the US. belle, you got me to go listen to ATY - and I loved it! Sounds like Adele's voice on it, but it's probably some one else ( as usually, no way to know from the official VEVO)... the song is beautiful! So the only hope for us -it is not a "summer song", but I am not holding my breath... also we have this, and it does not sound encouraging to me at all : Lolly_sss Lolly_sss 2h @shoshannastone Is this correct? US/Cdn isn't getting Lay Me Down as the next single? members.tmstudios.com/hitdisc.asp members.tmstudios.com/members/searchresponse.asp?dt=h&mode=disc_srch&dnum=HA201417 … … shoshanna stone @shoshannastone 2h Lolly_sss that's a question for Avicii - the single order was "Hey Brother' into "Addicted To You' elsewhere*avicii-centric, might wanna scroll* nica575, I'm glad you liked it! The singer is Audra Mae (performed in Upright Cabaret back in the day) - and the song (Addicted To You) combines great, emotional vocals with a signature-Avicii rhythmic background with prominent keyboards as is his style. I should think it's very radio-friendly and a good choice by Avicii. I was speculating that Avicii would prefer a female vocal on his next single after 'Wake Me Up'. This ATY with Audra Mae and 'Dear Boy' with Karen Marie Örsted (known solo by MÖ, sry don't know how to type the o with / through it instead of 'ö'; it's the same sound) were the choices for that. A female voice for winter and then LMD for spring/summer when thinking about the US market. I voted for DB thinking that showcasing a Scandinavian talent might be in Avicii's interests. But it's suitable for the US to have Audra Mae singing as her soulful voice type is perhaps more 'familiar' to the audiences - and it would also suit Avicii's agenda in combining house with different 'original' styles (bluegrass, folk, country, soul etc.). BTW The video has a Bonnie&Bonnie storyline - would that be acceptable in the US and a deciding factor, IDK? It was Avicii's plan from the start to make an album full of singles based on music he likes to listen to but with a twist of his own. He is the composer and he says the melody is important to him (together with great vocals where he needs help). Releasing the songs one by one gives him a year of radio presence at least and time to tour this spring and summer. Surely he's thinking about and working on his next album but not much rumour on that one has been heard yet. I would place the new album next spring which would give time for LMD, be it now or in the autumn. But things happen quickly in the EDM world so IDK if he's planning something later this year.

IF they go to ATY in US next -- and release at the end of Mayish -- they will probably not release another AVICII single until November or December 2014. WMU was released in June 2013, ATL in December 2013 (approaching peak now)... his song are charting high and lasting a long time in the US. Close to a 6 month cycle time. Similar to Adele. Surely you meant HB...

Mellimom -- perhaps we are more relaxed about Adam because we know he will be fine, he is doing so well, and he has excellent management. Metrosource Magazine @metrosourcemag 10m In case you missed it, MetroNOW's Top 10 LGBT Icons (2014 Edition featuring @adamlambert @joan_Rivers @rupaul). fb.me/31vDp0sY1 1. Madonna 2. Judy Garland 3. Cher 4. Liza Minnelli 5. Lady Gaga 6. Joan Rivers 7. RuPaul 8. Kathy Griffin 9. Adam Lambert10. Cyndi Lauper Does it bother anyone else that only two of the top 10 LGBT Icons are actually gay? Does not bother me. It would bother me if the people on this list were not big supporters of the LGBT community. I think the definition of LGBT Icon is a bit hazy however.

I like 'Breakthru' but this time talon's first video is geo-blocked. Thanks for the backup belle! :D It's hard to tell what gets geo blocked and what doesn't! YW! There's no way for you to know what happens for us. Keep up the good work of introducing us to less-known Queen goodies!

While watching our Global Morning Show today I was reminded that Paul Rodgers (who was a guest on the show) is married to a Canadian woman and currently lives in Vancouver. He is touring this summer and will be playing The River Rock on June 26th, two days before Queen+Adam play Rogers Arena. Wonder if he will stick around to see the concert as he doesn't have another show of his own booked until July 8th?
