Am I the only one that thinks Adam's face looks different? No, you're not. He looks, um, cheekier? I think it's probably a combination of the hair color and cut and maybe that most of he recent photos have been fairly candid, non-professional ones. |

Adam tweeted my video of purple haze ! OMG It's an ATOP jackpot day. How great that he chose your video. Was he lurking here and saw the discussion of the SoundScan files. Who started that discussion anyway? Was that from twitter? Well, I started the topic at ATOP yesterday and posted the link, but I was not the one who started it overall. I picked up a tweet in my feed, and there were two or three recordings ahead of it, presumably in a playlist, and I just played it in the background, while doing work on my desk, and then, as so often happens with Adam, I dropped whatever I was doing and started giving his singing my full attention. And was stunned at the fact that I was listening to something I did not remember anymore. Eventually, I found out that they were from a Larry Flick broadcast and Q3 helped fill in the pieces. Adam did a special one off studio performance for Sirius FM during this radio station trip around the country and the playlist I had somehow picked up had some of those songs. So, I posted the link here, and then many other folks started listening to it and it was all over twitter for some of the night and Adam may have seen it there. I do not know anymore who the original poster on twitter was or what the playlist was...sorry....Thank you to whoever this unknown contributor may be, just in case they stumble around here. Probably should have held on to the tweet, but did not. I just have that link that I posted here. shizuke, isn't your video above also from that same version of Purple Haze? I think it is. All happened yesterday, somehow. |

My fantasy on the theme of "if I could afford to book Adam for a private event what would I want him to do" came down to a few "wishes":
1) I would ask for a "no mic, no amplification, only voice"...obviously it would have to be in a small space
2) I would ask him to sing "By The Rules" and "Runnin'"
3) I would ask to please NOT sing WWFM or BE (no danger he would sing BTIKM or NCOE anyway)
4) I would ask for any classical peace of his choice
5) the rest would be up to him, I'd love all of it
What would be your wish list?

The "Extreme" instagram shot he posted when he was singing up close at Julies BD looked strange to me in particular. Something about his eyes. Maybe just the angle? Someone a couple of days ago questioned an eyebrow reshape I seem to recall. It is always fun to see what he will morph in to next. |
