Let's see. My private gig (remembering that I am now a billionaire) would be on my own personal island with warm sea breezes and atmospheric temperatures of 85o F during the day and 65o F during the night. My island is small and has white beaches on one side and rocky caves and swimming holes on the other. There is an open common pavilion where guests and family mingle with a kitchen manned by a Michelin chef. There are no really private spaces, just beautiful lounge beds and hammocks sprinkled around in lush settings for when guests want to sleep. Closet/lockers are assigned to each guest in the pavilion for personal items and bathrooms with elegant tubs and showers are strategically placed around the island. No one usually lives on my island (except me perhaps) but guests and supplies are flown in for parties of a few days or a week. Although the lavishly paid cooks and staff have required duties, they are free to mingle and use all the facilities just like the guests.
To this island, I would bring those here and Adam and his family and friends. There would be fresh food, copious cocktails, swimming, music, and dancing. For three days we would listen to Adam sing in the evenings and talk to each other sharing stories and experiences. The stars would decorate the night. The only thing more beautiful than Adam's voice would be the laughter of all the wonderful people floating on the breeze.

I have no smoking syringe...but it appears TO ME that he's recently Botoxed his forehead. It has looked this way in the past...Qbert 2012 in London for example. Not a big thing in the realm of "beauty" these days. It should be relaxed some by this Queen tour. I love all the movement of the eyebrows and forehead. Also, I think the shaved sides do make his face look fuller....he should take note and let that gorgeous hair grow back out on the sides. JMHO.....  He may have had a reaction to the Botox this time, making his face swell. He's had this haircut for awhile now. The only thing different is the color. The problem with Botox is if he keeps getting injections, it could permanently alter his face. I hope he stops at some point. Remember--this is still just your theory. It's too easy for rumors to spread in this day and age. |

Well darn, I was just going to rent a hall and lay out a spread of barbecue and cold beer. Songs: not real picky - no covers, take back, by the rules, and I know you will despise me for this but the song "December" off of the bastard album and anything else Adam chooses. Happy camper. |

My private gig would include an opportunity for people to apply for 100 all expenses paid trip tickets so people who have never had fortune to see Adam live could potentially come along (I am after all a Billionaire so $$ is no object). Set list would be what ever Adam wanted it to be with addition of one special request song decided by poll with people who'd be coming along to the event. Location - somewhere that feels remote but is in fact not too hard to get to. Tone - casual and laid back. No meet and greet or photos with him allowed(Adam deserves to have a night out of his zoo cage). No videoing the event as we will have a private videographer taping the whole show for distribution to guests as they leave. And will then be posted online the following week with access password distrubuted via social media so it is spread by fans to fans.
I'll keep thinking but that starts to set the scene.

My fantasy on the theme of "if I could afford to book Adam for a private event what would I want him to do" came down to a few "wishes": 1) I would ask for a "no mic, no amplification, only voice"...obviously it would have to be in a small space 2) I would ask him to sing "By The Rules" and "Runnin'" 3) I would ask to please NOT sing WWFM or BE (no danger he would sing BTIKM or NCOE anyway) 4) I would ask for any classical peace of his choice 5) the rest would be up to him, I'd love all of it What would be your wish list? 1. No mic, no amplification: absolutely. 2. BTR and Runnin: would be good 3. WWFM ---- NO!!! Also "no" to BTIKM, NCOE, Naked Love and 20th Century Boy (boring song) 4. Classical piece: ooooooooo. Definitely. 5. From Les Miz: Bring Him Home 6. Jazz standard of his choice 7. Can't Let You Go 8. OOL non-Reggae style 9. TP ala London Showcase 10. Demonstration of his warm-ups, practice scales routine I'll leave the rest to him. He should have SOME artistic freedom, right? Oooo, wait, what about Heaven on Their Minds? |
