What I like about the "The best of..." news cycle is that each and every publication shares the opinion which almost all Glamberts had as a gut reaction to the news. Although I could have lived without some comments, I enjoyed the ones like this: "The fact is, the music industry desperately needs fearless, subversive artists like Lambert. Whether you like his music or not, you can’t deny that Lambert is an extremely talented, extremely brave musician who has consistently challenged things like homophobia and gender stereotypes throughout his career (especially with his live performances). I’m crossing my fingers that we wont’ have to wait too much longer for Lambert to make a proper comeback. There is a big uptick in press mentions of Adam -- many are friends of Edge Publicity. I think that things are really in motion. The press coverage of the Best of Adam album has been great! Even the Idol bubble bloggers are being positive. This could be an Adam first.

Also love that Chad included Haley! Her album was so goid! Interscope really screwed her! Why sign her then barely do promo? Makes no sense to me! Yes, you are right -- she was so unfairly screwed. I own her album. Just bought it to support her -- still in plastic. But I like her. Bought it too, but I love her live even better. If she ever came close to here, I'd go in a heartbeat. So underrated, and my grudge with JLo is that she gave Haley the Snow White treatment. Nobody can shine brighter than JLo in the idol kingdom. Just like Jessica this year. Sorry for the OT, but you guys got me started playing some of her live performances again, and I can't stop.  |

They are vanishing as Idol's ratings drop.. but here are the ones I can think of... MjsBigBlog.com, Idolator.com, Rickey.com, TopIdolblog.com, americanidolnet.com/ IdolChatter on USA.com IdolWorship on TheHollywoodReporter (they have always been pro-Adam) Then there are some boggers who cover Idol fully -- like Lyndsey Parker RealityRock for Yahoo Music. ** Many of the bloggers who used to cover Idol full time have moved on. |
