Nile Rodgers looks like he had a direct tweet fail again.
Here is the tweet...
Nile Rodgers @nilerodgers @adamlambert and Leah, we land in Shanghai, but we perform and stay in Zhan Jiang, hence my firewall worries. Talk soon
ETA: Nile is referring to lack of Twitter in China -- firewall will prohibit access to Twitter.

Melissa Etheridge just popped into my head.. wonder if Adam ever had time to sing with her??? I was thinking about her not long ago too. It sounded as if they were making some kind of plans, but we haven't heard anything since.

Talk soon The only reason I can think that he would be worried about digital security and firewalls would be if they were sending files to him to listen to. And other ideas? I was wondering who Leah was and I found this on twitter. Gelly @14gelly 5m @pattihum Leah is the woman fr his mgmt that we see w Adam very often. She was w Adam in Shanghai.I think that's why Nile is mentioning her

Q3, sorry for a seemingly stupid question, but who are the "Idol bubble bloggers"? I know MJ of course, but who else is considered Idol centric? They are vanishing as Idol's ratings drop.. but here are the ones I can think of... MjsBigBlog.com, Idolator.com, Rickey.com, TopIdolblog.com, americanidolnet.com/ IdolChatter on USA.com IdolWorship on TheHollywoodReporter (they have always been pro-Adam) Then there are some boggers who cover Idol fully -- like Lyndsey Parker RealityRock for Yahoo Music. ** Many of the bloggers who used to cover Idol full time have moved on. TopIdolblog is not even updating every show anymore. Rickey is at Rickey.org not .com (but useless anyways). Think we should also mention TVline.com (with Michael Sleszak), he has a massive comment section right now, so people are paying attention to that one. But yes, otherwise, not many left. Four of the top 5 this season are not even so bad, some actually interesting (in different ways). None of them anywhere close to the final 4 in season 8 though. But the show has lost so many by making it a pain to get to this point, and they have the public opinion wind blowing in their faces. It's just all very wholesome, which Harry CJr seems to love, but there is just not much to wake up the masses and to get them to watch again. Sadz.

Young, inexperienced competitors. The best of this season would not make the Top 5 of most seasons -- and certainly not Season 8. *** And yes, I missed Michael Sleszak who did cover Idol this season and is one of the best back in Season 8. Even if he preferred the Red Head.

DAMIEN: Now at the Press Conference to announce your North American tour you said "The fans want us to do it, so we'll do it one more time". Is it the last time?
BRIAN: I'm kind of feeling that it is. It's the last big shot. Yeah, we won't be able to do it for ever, you know. Our bodies are not what they were when we were 35. Nevertheless, I'm thriled to have the opportunity. It's amazing that we have the chance. It's incredible that the tour sold out almost instantly. These are big places. It's a tour precisely on the same level as we did in 1986 or whatever with Freddie. So it's a big deal and you have to really take it seriously. We don't take ourselves too seriously hopefully, still, we take the job seriously and we want to be good value, and it will be something pretty big - pretty special, I think.Somehow it's so sad to hear Brian say that (bolded stuff)... and as a fan I feel the same as the stuff in red.... I feel so lucky to have the chance and the opportunity to see them live! ...and share the experience with my DD and my friends and all the fans... I also hope Brian means "the last NA tour" and not a tour in general...
