I wonder how much time Adam has or will take to learn the ropes of the breadth of the technical issues and decisions involved in a large tour production. If he wished, he could likely eschew some of the time involved in making all these decisions...that would certainly minimize the time he needed to be present. But, if he can afford the time and they are open to it...this could be a huge learning experience for him that would give him a huge leg up when the time comes for him to prepare his own first really big tour. He has spoken about how he is an experiential learner...well here is his chance....he is a very lucky man to have this available.....yeah!! So true, mszue. A blogger the other day referred to Adam being "stuck on that tour." I think this guy was wanting Adam to be concentrating on his own music. But Adam has said that when he is with Brian and Roger he is like a sponge. It's so exciting to think how much he can learn from this experience. And all that he has learned in the past will make it easier to really take advantage of what he is exposed to on this tour. And it's so exciting that Brian and Roger are excited about putting on a big show. I really doubt that they ever thought they would have a chance to do this with anyone who could come close to Freddie's many talents. It's all just so exciting...

Yay!! I had a feeling! Bet he is presenting! Looks like Adam. The letters below seem to be "BERT", so The only question is - WHY is this a secret? In any case, I feel I have to watch it now - NBC, tomorrow, 8 pm to 11 pm, correct? I hope Adam will tweet the last second at least! oh, and RED CARPET! YES? There will be RC?

For me, the "Best of..." compilation is a win-win situation, because it gave Adam a decent news cycle for one, but more importantly, he came out of the whole situation as morally superior without moving his little finger, and yet again, established his reputation as an artist who "...makes the kind of music he wants to make, and does it on his own terms. He takes risks, bucks the trends ...", etc. which some publications felt the need to reiterate - because it's true. Everybody who can see beyond their noses are aware that it isn't him who is behind the compilation, but Sony (RCA), who I don't fault for that at all - they wanted to make a smart business move, make a quick buck, and I can only feel good about them finding Adam's songs profitable. I don't want to read anything further into that, I couldn't care less whether they regret letting Adam go or not, because I am happy he left, for all the reasons stated multiple times before. It was a smart move on his part.
Quite accidentally, the best thing about this publication is that it helped warm up the general vibe and atmosphere surrounding Adam, the one where I feel like so many people are rooting for him, cheering from the bleachers and wanting him to succeed in every possible sense of the word, recognizing that "he is an important artist to have around" for reasons which transcend the usual business moves and expected behaviour on all parts. I have always felt that everybody should want him to do it his way and make it and now I see more and more people do that. Funny thing is it wasn't RCA's intention at all! It just organically happened, because it's, you know... Adam, he is lovable that way:) The whole world is going to become one huge Glambert. So, as I said, a win-win situation.
The only downsides would be a), a possible misprepresentation ( too strong word, but I can't think of another), if you think that Adam has much better songs in his repertoire (which he does, but it is indeed a nice collection; poorly chosen Trespassing singles strike again), and b) a few people getting snarky of him releasing a 'hit album after only one hit' ( but they belong in a group of those who don't know that this is not published by Adam, and who clearly confuse the meaning of 'best of' with 'hits collection', and who would probably complain about something else eventually, which makes them discardable). But after Adam's tweets all that is cleared up!!! Clever man:)))
All this imho, of course.

And this is really new for Brian and Roger -- their first big show since 1986. Q+PR was not the same scale. I'm not certain I agree with that statement. Their 2005 European tour was fairly comparable in terms of arena size so therefore stage I believe. Brian and Roger talk big...but I wouldn't be getting too hyped up out of the realm of possibilities....Just a cautionary thought or two. I may be wrong...but Brian and Roger always talk about the bigness of a Queen production...and they have always lumped QPR in with those statements. NOW as different to the 2012 Hammersmith shows...yes they will be bigger than that. But the QPR stops are similar in function. First, if it was just Brian and Roger who said the set was big and amazing, I would be right with you. But Adam said it. And Adam seemed impressed and a bit awed and said it was big. *** I think what they tried to do with the Q+PR show was different -- they staged a rock concert with a supergroup of classic rock guys. *** What I think is "new" is the technology of set designs and effects which have advanced a lot. New kinds of computer controllers, lighting systems, etc. A lot of what is in use is new since 2008. And Queen (Brian and Roger now) have always embraced new technology -- while incorporating traditional approaches. We will see something new -- and big -- if only in the pryo and lighting systems. Just in pryo there have been huge advances. For example: pyrotekfx.com/gallery.htmlThey did the Metallica tour -- check it out here: pyrotekfx.com/gallery.htmlOr the Beyonce pyro also done by Pyrotekfx. No, I am not expecting to see flying Adam....but the Lady Gaga ArtRave set is a wonder. It converts into all kinds of things and she has a flying dress. There are new control systems that can just do more. Even Barry Manilow toured with an advanced effect system. designandtechtheatre.wordpress.com/2012/04/16/barry-manilow-concert-lighting/These systems are built on the super-cool DMX512 technology (not new, but not is use for shows until around 2009). Here is a good wiki page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DMX512Then there are new, large format video systems. *** This is one case where I hope I am right. All I know is that they have been working on this production since around November 2013. So I expect more than raw metal risers and a stock truss. And we know the set has a catwalk with a thrust!

Nica, I would bet on a Summer 2015 Adam Lambert Tour! Mys*&@^#r, But can I bet on that summer 2015 tour being in California in July ??? This is the third year in a row that I am going to Adam concerts in July. (2012-Costa mesa + FS2, 2013-San Diego + Paso Robles, 2014-Queenbert) (Wait, wasn't Glam Nation at the Warfield in San Francisco in 2010 also in July?) Anyway, I like the convenience of being able to plan in advance that my July will be spent, at least in part, traveling around California (and maybe a little of Nevada) to see concerts! LOL peace&love

Yay!! I had a feeling! Bet he is presenting! I think you are right. A presenter. So why keep that a secret? Also why is the Adam picture standing up so we can see it? We can't see the other people next to him. Is this supposed to be a clue?
