I freely admit that No Boundaries is a bad song, but it doesn't incite me to violence the way Don't Want To Miss A Thing does. DWTMAT doesn't even make sense. You don't miss things when you're asleep because you're asleep! lyrics or no lyrics, I utterly despise IDWMAT. I hate the melody/tune whatever you want to call it. It actually makes my teeth hurt. So I'm with you on hating the song, if for different reasons

Finally watched my DVRed iHeart Awards last night & I surprisingly thought it was a well put together show! The awards are BS, but the show itself was good! I thought it moved along quickly & I was entertained. Really loved the LA Music Scene vignettes! I enjoyed it too, but the reviews I've seen, and twitter etc. reactions, were mostly unfavorable. My hubby, who hates awards shows, watched the whole thing and enjoyed it. The unfavorable comments I've seen were because there weren't any "names" in the audience other than Rihanna. I hope iHeart doesn't get discouraged because it did keep moving well and I like the middle of the crowd awards instead of everything on the stage.

Since it is a slow day... I was watching an hour special on E from last month....Best Moments: On Air with Ryan Seacrest... nice that they included an excerpt of one of the times Adam visited the studio from last year. (the clip about drunk dialing) I'm sure the longer clip was posted here earlier. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nux4GuFdJLQ

I don't think you are interpreting that the same way the writers are. If something happens while you are asleep you miss being a part of it. You are not experiencing the things that are happening while you sleep. That is what they are talking about missing. But the song says "I miss you, baby." It doesn't seem to assuming that the loved one is involved in a bunch of adventures that the sleeper is missing out on. In that case it would say, "Hey, how come you keep leaving me out of your life and doing things while I'm asleep?" Besides, the song is based on an actual quote by James Brolin, who claimed that he missed Barbra Streisand when he was asleep. Seriously. This may be a bit of a quibble but when I look at those lyrics in context the line "cause I'd miss you, baby" means not the emotion of missing her but that being asleep would mean missing the experience of being with her. The entire song is about wanting to stay in that moment of just experiencing the other person. This is part of the imperfection of english in that the context can entirely change the meaning. The phrase "miss you" can legitimately refer to two different types of "missing". I don't know anything about the Brolin thing but you can miss someone while you are asleep in the sense that you are not experiencing their presence not that you are feeling the emotion of missing them.

The most insipid #1 song ever for real is "Ebony and Ivory".
And it was number one on both the UK and the U.S. charts.
Ebony And Ivory Live Together In Perfect Harmony Side By Side On My Piano Keyboard, Oh Lord, Why Don't We?
We All Know That People Are The Same Where Ever We Go There Is Good And Bad In Ev'ryone, We Learn To Live, We Learn To Give Each Other What We Need To Survive Together Alive.
Ebony And Ivory Live Together In Perfect Harmony Side By Side On My Piano Keyboard, Oh Lord Why Don't We?
Ebony, Ivory Living In Perfect Harmony Ebony, Ivory, Ooh
We All Know That People Are The Same Where Ever We Go There Is Good And Bad In Ev'ryone, We Learn To Live, We Learn To Give Each Other What We Need To Survive Together Alive.
Ebony And Ivory Live Together In Perfect Harmony Side By Side On My Piano Keyboard, Oh Lord Why Don't We?
The sentiment was good but seriously.....insipid.

His table was an A List table! I watched last night and the only people in the first row were performers or award winner tables! Absolutely! and his table was the first from the center isle! But most importantly - Adam got lots of camera time IMO aside from the stage time. So looking good so far! Has anyone found a pic of the overhead shot during Pharrel's performance? It showed the whole setup of tables and Adam as the only spot of color. It would be a great way to chart where everyone was. Where was Shoshanna? And did the DMG people sit with Adam too?

I have not seen the overhead shot.
