I'm so sorry about the rough time you and your family has been having. I watched Artifact the other night too and, although I knew some of the horrors of the music business, this really opened my eyes. Everyone interested in music should watch it. It's not just for Jared Leto fans. Adam was LUCKY to get away from RCA as easily as he did. I am glad that Adam got away from RCA but I still wonder what it cost him. Does anyone else remember that about that time that he posted a song or lyrics about giving up things to get what you want? I have always wondered about that. I don't believe that RCA let him just walk away. I remembered this. Can't remember the exact words, but the first thought through my mind at that time was that he was talking about giving up at least part of his royalties to get out of that contract. I'm hoping that he did not have to do that. |

OT WARNING -I guess the competition between Rachel and Santana were not only on the screen, and it got Naya fired from Glee (so the rumor said  ). So I don't know what's so special about Leah I think she cracked her voice twice when she was singing with Adam. One of them was in Gloria.
I sincerely doubt any tension between the two actresses got Naya fired. Writing an actress/character out of episode that has already been written and likely had started pre-production is usually costly. Her record label also reportedly dropped her this week. Rumors do have Lea being rather chilly rep but Naya has developed a volatile one (from when she reportedly slashed the tires of a co-star she had reportedly dated). I don't know the truth but the immediacy of the action suggests that Naya ticked off someone with a heck of a lot more power than Lea. I love Adam and loved him on Glee but sometimes that set sounds crazy. Being a guest star with the possibility, but not obligation, to return is probably an ideal place for him to be. Many artists remain shackled to the label without being able to release music. And many are sued for millions by the label. |
