I am on the "NO to Peter Pan" team for sure!
Also, they will go for some huge name anyway (like Beibs, or one of the 1D boys, or whomever ...) I am sure singing ability is not a priority anyway...
Chris C. would be a great choice, fits like a glove IMO!

I entered at 8AM on the New Orleans Clear Channel station WRNO. It's a talk station & I was getting the local morning show/news. They are an iHeart Radio station. The keyword was "JOKE" & I had to wonder what they meant by that! Usually these things have some relevance to the event, like "ROCK" or "GUITAR" or even "MAMA", but "JOKE"? NO! I hated to even text that!

Did any of 1D do any musical theatre previously?

Good morning. I asked this question a few days ago and I was just wondering if anyone has any idea why Adam wasn't nominated for best guest star on Glee. His MTN was 'kick-ass' amazing as was his whole time on Glee. Glee fans embraced his character and wanted more of him this season and next season. I'm just not understanding this. I can probably answer this better as an "outsider". Outside of Adam fandom and hardcore Gleeks, Adam's tenure on Glee did not create much of a ripple. It garnered some mentions in the entertainment press, but other guest stars previously had been more heralded outside the main groupings. It actually probably hurts that Adam's been the latest in a long line of such guest stars. It's not new and as unique anymore. It was enough to get a few mentions, but not enough to get any kind of award nomination. Outside of the entertainment press, where did the other guest stars get mentioned? Seems the same to me?! ??? thelambertluvva you are correct. It is actually for less than the season, it is just for one episode. The producers of the show submit their possible choices. They chose not to submit Adam. Who knows why. I would have thought the MTN episode might have been a good one!

It actually probably hurts that Adam's been the latest in a long line of such guest stars. It's not new and as unique anymore. It was enough to get a few mentions, but not enough to get any kind of award nomination. Hmmm, I thought it was just for this season so didn't think any history should have been involved. Did any of these people create huge buzz this season? "Glee tends to have good luck in the guest-acting categories, and so Fox is submitting Tim Conway and Mike O'Malley (Burt) for Guest Actor and — deep breath! — Kristin Chenoweth (April), Dot-Marie Jones (Beiste), Shirley MacLaine (June), Gwyneth Paltrow (Holly), Romy Rosemont (Carole), and June Squibb (Maggie) for Guest Actress. Whew!" Mike O'Malley (Kurt's Dad), Romy Rosemont (Finn's mom/Kurt's stepmom), and Dot-Marie Jones (Coach Beiste) are "guest stars" who play memorable recurring roles. O'Malley and Rosemont were in the episode in which the Glee club went to Nationals -- their characters Burt and Carole decided to act as Glee club chaperones in memory of Finn (very emotional episode). Also, O'Malley appeared in the episode in which Kurt got injured trying to help a gay man who was being attacked. So, good actors in emotional (tear-jerking) guest slots can often equal Emmy nominations. Kristin Chenoweth is a Tony winner, Shirley MacLaine and Gwyneth Paltrow are Oscar winners, June Squibb was just nominated for an Oscar -- marquee names in guest appearances are also perfect bait for Emmy voters. So these are good choices for Glee, from a nomination standpoint, in terms of talent and "buzz". Adam was great on the show, of course, but one could argue that the acting challenge for O'Malley and Rosemont was greater in their roles. And Adam doesn't have an Oscar or Tony nomination yet (yes, I'm being a bit cynical here.)

ahh Dancy what a beautiful memory and story. Yes, it is a great story the guy in the article I quoted told! I hope he writes about how wonderful the concert was afterwards! Yeah read it as you, it is what happens when you skim and have insomnia at the same time.

Did any of 1D do any musical theatre previously? Actually the Biebs has a bit of acting experience. He did a two episode arc on CSI a few years ago. Not being a fan I figured he would stink the place up, but he was quite convincing in the role. Count me on the NO to Adam as Peter Pan. While he certainly has the goods to play the role (Barrie himself described Pan as a beautiful boy with a beautiful smile), and he could maybe hide a bit of the sexiness behind Peter's mischievousness, they would have to make his tunic extra long or bind his pelvic area like they have bound big breasted women for roles. I just don't see him in this role at all. Now the Judas role has been my dream since I first saw the HOTM vid...... that IMO is the roll he is meant to play sometime in his future
