Just because they had a lot of viewers doesn't make it good.IMHO it was awful and I was one of the 22 million who watched it . This^^^^^ I kept waiting for it to get better. Perhaps people were watching and waiting for a live screw-up. Who knows. |

Um.................. Ok den..................  With THAT out of the way, I WILL say that Adam would make an AWESOME Peter Pan **** if**** they changed the storyline to what Peter Pan would be like after he "grew up". I didn't think Robin Williams was convincing as a grownup Pan in Hook. I think a re-visitation of that overall concept with Adam could be very convincing indeed. However, Q3, I know you're thinking of original source material. But, everyone's brains are firmly wrapped around the Disney and current stage versions. If Baz Luhrmann was thinking of doing Peter Pan a'la how Moulin Rouge was a takeoff of the opera La Boheme, it could work. And potentially be insanely splendid. But, IMO, not otherwise. |
