I have found that listening on line is not giving you the same programming as listening over the air waves. I was listening on line for a couple of days and never heard the key word. I finally had both the on-line and on air stations playing and the on air station gave the key word so I entered. Any win in the first round gets you $l,000 and then your name is entered into the drawing for the prize to see Adam and Queen. Will see what happens.

What's more AMAZING's Freddie's voice sounded normal and as powerful as if he was in good health and was not sick. Yup and that was a few months before he passed away. He really gave it his all...

That is why I put the (according to his fans) 'cause I have not checked it -- only the extremes. But the G#5 is real as is the G1 -- just the quality of that high note is not good. But he is such a complex person, artist, songwriter, etc. that I think he gets forgotten as a vocalist. He also is not a powerful singer and it seems that volume/power = great singer for many people. Not me so much. I tend to like tenors and contraltos, and baritones who sing in the tenor range, who have distinctive voices -- Adam, Elvis Costello, Neil Young, Bowie (baritone), Freddie (baritone), John Lenon (baritone), Bob Marley, Usher, Adele, Lorde all are on my favs list. There are a few baritones I really love Frank Sinatra, Jim Morrison...can't think of any more. I am not too much of a fan of the singer-songwriter types -- John Meyer, Paul Simon, James Taylor. Even when I like their songs. If I misclassified a singer, forgive me. I just did it from memory and a few are tricky. Where can I hear those Bowie extremes? I'm prrrretty skeptical about him being able to sing the top note in Sure Fire Winners then drop over an octave lower than Runnin' (Just to put things in "Adam terms" ) But I am open to being proven wrong! I think Freddie was a tenor actually, he did have a nice low range but the real telling thing is being able to sing softly in the high range in full voice. Baritones can sing that high obviously but not with much control on the dynamic side. But I think once you get two octaves voice classification falls apart since it was designed for a very different style of singing to what we get in rock and pop. But yeah seems that you like women with deep voices like I do, I'll PM you a link to someone I really like that you might not have heard of. I have seen on the Queen forum where Freddie is called a tenor. But I go with Freddie -- he said he was a baritone, so he will stay a baritone. And when he spoke in his normal voice vs his some fey voice which was fake, he sounded like a baritone. A close friend of his told me that Freddie had a "slippery range". I always remembered that expression but I have no idea what it means. >> Back in the 70's I am not sure I actually knew the difference between male vocal voice types. Said cause I was once a serious vocalist. There are a few things I know for sure from RL -- and Freddie was a baritone who could sing such a broad range that he ends up classified as a tenor. I am not sure that it matters for the unnaturally gifted vocalists - like Adam and Freddie. I classify them as vocal type = AMAZIN' Bowie is def a baritone.

Here is a song I would love hear Adam cover.... Elvis Costello & Burt Bacharach: God Give Me Strength The best his from the movie "Grace of My Heart." Sung by Kristen Vigard. Lip synced in the movie by Illeana Douglas. Written by Elvis Costello and Burt Bacharach. youtu.be/pJvKN7MS_9wI have never heard it sung by anyone who could actually sing it very well. I love the movie "Grace of My Heart" and all of the music from it. I would love Adam to cover "God Give Me Strength". I like all of the versions of it. Here is Elvis Costello and Burt Bachrach doing it with a live orchestra. Wal, Thanks for posting the Neil video. I didn't understand it so I went searching. There are two other videos proceeding this one. I haven't had a chance to watch them yet. Neil is smart and talented. It is nice to know he is doing well. I do miss his snark.

I heard the key word listening from my iHeartRadio app (on iphone). After I texted the word (bark), they texted back, "Thank you for entering! Download iHeartRadio at .. One entry per keyword will be counted." Anybody knows if we can only text the word one time, or can we do it again tomorrow?
