Today I spent a lot of time in the car and was actually delighted as I could listen for key words during the drive. At 1 pm the dj did come on and say that the key word would be given out at 5 pm. So, it seems that the stations are not conducting the contest in the way it was originally thought. At 5 pm I was not in the car. At 5:04 I was and anxiously turned the radio back on to see if they were running behind. Nope. Someone named Lorraine in the Nashville area texted in the keyword AND WON $1,000!! So, I don't know what that is all about. In any case, if Lorraine happens to be on this board, congrats!! Every station has different rules and time. They are posted online. The $1,000 winners get in the drawing for the ultimate prize. WOW, you mean you win $1,000 AND may get a trip - cool. When I went on-line last week they mentioned they would be giving out passcodes 4 times per day - maybe they meant one passcode per day at either one of these 4 times. I guess I'll go back and check. But, actually, 4 hours of listening to that station was enough for me yesterday......Creedence Clear Water! |
