I am thinking about the special moments and there are several that come to mind immediately (the EMA dark silhouette; the FS1 WLL; the breathtaking, sparkling, black lipstick wearing, crazy energy appearance on the RMT stage), but I have to admit that for me THE MOMENT was my first virginal glimpse of Adam live in close proximity. THAT happened at the first CBS early show - the time of many "firsts": the first time getting up at 3am to get to the corner of 5th Ave and 59th st at 4 am, the first time meeting other insane fans (some travelled much larger distances to get there), the first time being at any TV show... In a couple of hours the sun came out, the piano and the stage got installed, the barricades came up, we got our spots facing the piano, everyone having great time chatting...and then out of the corner of my eye I saw Adam in that white jacket, walking towards us... I felt the time stopped, all the sounds disappeared...only Adam existed... he was walking, with that Adam-walk-when-he-is-not-on-camera, bringing the aura of light, softness and kindness closer and closer... I caught myself screaming -- totally out of character for the deeply introverted me, never before but a few times after (each time for Adam)... Then we got to see all the "behind the scenes" stuff - the set up, the rehearsal with the accompanist, who was apparently new to Adam and they had to discuss all kinds of details: www.youtube.com/watch?v=o125Mv3YTy4Then the sound check (and I swear I did not hear the horrible street noise so apparent in the video): www.youtube.com/watch?v=8z1LlII95WoThen the interview set up (yes, the host was dying to touch him): www.youtube.com/watch?v=bILUiO-iofAand then the show itself... but nothing compares to that first glimpse of Adam...That look is my favorite Adam look forever I think..... Nica575 This was my moments as well. Nice to share it with you ! Determined to make the trip to NYC. A first for me and alone at 3 am. Never have I done such a crazy thing ( in my adult life) My DH thought I was nuts. I didn't even know how to get a train ticket. Took me 3 hrs but I arrived in the city at 6 am. So proud of myself as I walked out of Penn Sation. First time in the city. First time taking a train & a cab. First timing seeing AFL. I WAS SO EXCITED I will never forget the sun finally shinning on us right before Adam arrived. Seeing him walk up from the side street. I did feel like the city just stopped. While he was singing I did take a look around. No the city didn't stop , but thought to myself ' why are people just walking by... ?? There is a YouTube video from that day , taken right from across from me with Adam singing, me in the background. I was beaming !! Thank you Adam. So many first in my crazy adult like <3

I remember my first introduction to Adam was AI. I actually hadn't bothered with AI8 until I was going through the TV channels and came across him singing IAGNS and thought wow! I was sold hook line and sinker (that's my favorite moment everything else is a bonus). In 2010 I managed to get tickets to go watch him in Brisbane and took my then very unimpressed other half. I still remember driving to the venue and turning the corner to see a wave of people lining up going round the corner I had never seen anything like it. I managed to hide my video camera in my bag, thank goodness they didn't want to dig too deep into my bag. When we all allowed in there was rush seemed like everyone wanted to get close to the stage not us we decided to go up to the balcony which I think was the best decision of all. I managed to video most of the show which I gave to my son to pop on his you tube account (they turned out great considering I was hiding my camera in my bag). The funnest thing that happened was that my darling hubby thought he would go buy me a Tee-Shirt as a surprise. He told me when he went to the kiosk and asked for a Tee for his partner the guy behind the counter asked him "What size is he?" I thought that was hilarious.

You just don't know how many times I've watched that tent entrance -- I LOVED it. I wasn't there but wished I had been. There was a youtube once (that I have never found again) that shows him up close just standing there before he starts walking. You're so right, centering. Can you even imagine being him at that moment?! Here you go Coo.coo.ca.choo! OMG! Thank you so much!!
