As far as I can determine, Adam is still in Los Angeles. He is not likely to head to London for rehearsals for a couple weeks. We have 41 days until the first concert! Wonder why I know this! ** Will the Seascrest thing NEVER end!! ** Adam on Idol. He has been on Idol every year. 2009 - His season! 2010 - Lasers! youtu.be/Q8qXlsRUXJI2011 - Aftermath charity single youtu.be/DMRudJa9CS02012 - NCOE youtu.be/9j1zXqw1z_I2013 - Titanium youtu.be/YMmzvr4_fS02014 - ?? He was briefly on the show for the bootcamp but no performance. Daughtry retuened for a performance. What I would love is to have Adam perform OOL as a charity single for Ohio Marriage Equity. *** Adam has performed on Idol for 5 years, every year. I would not be surprised to see him return. What I would REALLY love -- would be for Adam to show up and perform the beginning of BoRhap as a solo intro to a big reveal of Queen - then blow up the whole place/show like they did in Vegas. It was his audition song, and how he is headlining a tour with Queen. It is the perfect Idol story. I do not think this is happening. BUT IT WOULD BE COOL. *** The EVIL dream.Since Meatloaf can no longer sing his pre-2004 songs. And since Adam can. I would like to see Adam and Caleb do a duet of "I Would Do Anything for Love". [Just being in a mini-Loaf "package" does not make you able to sing like Mr. Loaf!] youtu.be/uRQ12qjiDBQAdam has never performed any Meatloaf -- and I know that he would kill on this song now.

Talon -- I agree with you about Bijou it is gorgeous! Some chance for it but maybe in Canada. Just not that well known in the US.
I disagree on your odds on "Brighton Rock". I think the odds are about 50% that it makes the QAL North America tour. I will be sad if I do not get to hear it again. It was one of the few non-Adam highlights in the Hammersmith 2012 concerts -- and Brian and Roger had to know it.
[As many reported, the energy level for QAL when Adam was off-stage just dropped noticably.]

I'd like to see Adam perform with Queen on the Idol finale as a full circle moment. Ryan could show a clip of Adam and Kris singing with Queen on the season eight finale, and then point out that Adam has made very successful appearances with them since (while showing brief clips from Ukraine with the huge audience and clips from iHeart Radio) and then saying they're in such demand that they're doing a U.S. tour. Then Ryan announces that we're lucky to get a taste of that tour right now--and there they are, rocking it out and driving the audience wild. If there are a few tickets left unsold anywhere in the country, I'll bet they'd sell out fast after that.

IMO they would be fools not to do this! What a story and what a great PR for Idol as well as QAL! How can they NOT do it? Rhetorical question of course.
This would be a big missed opportunity for Idol. But they missed many opportunities in the past haven't they?

Adam's coming out with new music and keeps visible. Queen is touring and needs to sell more tickets. AI gets bragging rights about one of their alum.

I agree re Idol side but why would B&R want to do this with the tour at about 90% sold as it is? After all for them it's a major schlepp to LA... #IWanttobeWrong BTW: is there a current contestant who could sing with QAL?

IZOD & Atlantic City are 2 of them! It'd be great advertising for them. I have said all along that it makes sense, to me, for the rehearsals to be in the US. So B&R coming for the Idol Finale would not be a huge deal.

As for Adam not being on Idol because he has nothing to promote................he was on Idol last year and sang with Angie Miller and he had nothing to promote................fingers crossed IDK I wouldn't feel heart broken at all if he isn't. He was some ear and eye candy on Glee, so I got my TV fix. For me, Idol sucked this year and I'm surprised they renewed the show. Exposure is always good, but the up tick I think would only be for fans. That said, I loved Titanium and had it on replay as much as "Rockstar" Its a one hour show.. is this new or did they do this last year too? Are you saying that the finale itself is only one hour, or are you talking about the performance show for the final two? The final performance show has traditionally been one hour but the finale is two. I would hate it if the finale was only one hour. They wouldn't have time for a lot of special guest stars or reminisces about the season. No matter how much I roll my eyes at this show, I really don't want the finale pared down as if it's not a special night for the contestants, who get to sing with some of their own idols.

Murly is correct that the performance show has always been an hour. The Finale 2 hours.
The Idol Finale is 2 hours, Wednesday, May 21st from 8-10.
