Murly is correct that the performance show has always been an hour. The Finale 2 hours. The Idol Finale is 2 hours, Wednesday, May 21st from 8-10. I'm glad to hear that. A one-hour finale would really seem like the final death rattle for the show, and as much as I complain about it, I'd feel bad if it was cancelled. It's been a tradition for so long and really has introduced some talented performers to the world. Like, oh, say, Adam.

Talon -- I agree with you about Bijou it is gorgeous! Some chance for it but maybe in Canada. Just not that well known in the US. I disagree on your odds on "Brighton Rock". I think the odds are about 50% that it makes the QAL North America tour. I will be sad if I do not get to hear it again. It was one of the few non-Adam highlights in the Hammersmith 2012 concerts -- and Brian and Roger had to know it. [As many reported, the energy level for QAL when Adam was off-stage just dropped noticably.] *confused* Maybe I wasn't clear I *DON'T* really think that the whole of Brighton Rock - as in with the vocals, etc. most likely won't be played (and wasn't played at Hammersmith). A guitar solo mostly based on Brighton Rock as Brian has been performing it since the 70s without the vocals (and what WAS played at Hammersmith) is at 110%. That DEFINITELY will happen. Make sense? As for energy dropping when Adam was off stage...well that makes sense given that outside of the guitar solo, the Adam-less moments were the far more laid back moments with Brian on his acoustic and Roger doing more of the slower nostalgic stuff...far less of a "show"...and more the feel of an intimate gathering....as was the intent I feel I think the energy seemed quite high when Brian did TYMD for example in the encore :D

IDK I wouldn't feel heart broken at all if he isn't. He was some ear and eye candy on Glee, so I got my TV fix. For me, Idol sucked this year and I'm surprised they renewed the show. Exposure is always good, but the up tick I think would only be for fans. That said, I loved Titanium and had it on replay as much as "Rockstar" Its a one hour show.. is this new or did they do this last year too? Are you saying that the finale itself is only one hour, or are you talking about the performance show for the final two? The final performance show has traditionally been one hour but the finale is two. I would hate it if the finale was only one hour. They wouldn't have time for a lot of special guest stars or reminisces about the season. No matter how much I roll my eyes at this show, I really don't want the finale pared down as if it's not a special night for the contestants, who get to sing with some of their own idols. Thanks... I'm not sure why I was thinking one hour.

You will be happy to know, that Kevin Reilly said last week, Idol is going no where. It is far from its last season! It has been my favorite show for 13 years & is on for 5 months! IDK, how i will handle it when it ends! Yes, I am serious!!

Is the iHeart radio contest still going on? They are still giving out secret passwords but it sounds like it's for a concert in your backyard now. The passwords that they have used since Wednesday are rodeo, doctor, wings, celebrate, blue, boxer, Spring, circle, and bread. Do any of these sound familiar or have I been listening to the wrong channel? My iHeart channel for Columbus, OH is WCOL 92.3 not 93.3 as listed.

Someone on twitter who lives in Wisconsin, I think, told me there are 2 contests going on at her local station. One for Queen, one for the Black Keys. She said the key words & phone number are exactly the same! How do they know which one you are entering for? How would this even be workable? Sounds fishy, to me! Adds to my not trusting radio contests! ???
