to the person who couldn't get on to alf club site yesterday the phone number for ground control is 1 877 463 2875. They were very helpful to me and it only took a minute or two although the initial wait to get a live person was quite long. Thanks for that. I did what Dancy suggested and clicked "forgot password", got an email from Ground Control, set a new password, and still couldn't log in to the news. I did the whole procedure again, somehow managed to be in the store and ordered a calendar, but still could not get into any other part of the site. I logged out and tried to get back on and now the site says my password has expired. I've tried with both Firefox and Chrome. The important thing is I ordered a calendar, but I'm a hardcore Glambert -- a lesser mortal may have given up! I wonder how many they will sell if they make it that difficult.

Once again I watched QAL iHeart performance ( so many times that I don't count anymore). Every time I kind of feel sorry for that FUN guy It is not an easy place to sing after Adam's "Who Wants to Live Forever". With this song I can't stop my tears

From what i have seen of other artists' concerts in Australia, the country seems to be always ready! I am guessing QAL will have no problem selling out arenas. Would definitely expect multiple cities OZ is a huge country! Q3, way back when we were still speculating about if QAL would ever come to NA & what venues they would play, you and I often discussed and "argued" about MSG. Me saying they could sell it out no problem, you saying they couldn't. I believe in this case, craazyforadam is remembering that part correctly. I am sure QAL will be booked in arenas in Australia -- but I questioned the selling out/being booked in STADIUMS. Two different things. The big acts tour Australia (Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Bruna, etc) are being booked into arenas/centres. Some doing multiple dates. That is what I believe QAL will do -- play arenas. ETA: The big question here is will they do the two big markets or 4-5 cities. I how they tour the whole country! They have only played Sydney and Melbourne (1985). *** I am sure I disagreed with with the "no problem" sellout part. But not about them being booked into MSG. I am pleased with how well that concert sold. Really pleased and pleasantly surprised. And I did not expect it to be so fast. Nor did I expect Philly to be so f'ing slow -- or Boston to have so many tickets left. >> Philadelphia Queen's #1 market in 1978-1982, now it is looking more like Seattle!! :( This has been a very tough summer for concert ticket sales -- and big artists are not sellout out US Arenas -- look at Gaga. QAL MSG is still not actually "sold out" although is a technical sell out. Some stray tickets left on the 100 level including 2 together and 3 together in section 118. And Ticketmaster still is sitting on some tickets -- they are dolling them out as Platinum tickets at a premium and putting a few on sale here. It changes every week. And they haven't sold out The Forum yet. I expect that they will technically sell out LA but there are still tickets there. Looks like they may technically sell out a lot of these date -- still a lot of tickets in Detroit, Boston, Atlantic City, the two Texas shows, Philly, Toronto #2, Western Canada. But overall -- everyone involved with this tour has to be pleased. *** The other big surprise to me is that the added the 5 dates in the Northeast -- seems like the over-saturated the NY-Philly area -- but did not play Atlanta, Miami, somewhere in the middle center of the country -- Columbus, OH-St. Louis-Memphis-Denver They could have easily gone to Columbus, OH instead of Atlantic City. Bigger market, better venue. (Closer to me!!)

Shoshanna stone @shoshannastone Exciting #LayMeDown 37m Susie Fierce SusieFierce@shoshannastone So excited for UK!! (And a little jealous ...) shoshanna stone @shoshannastone SusieFierce not just UK, most countries are ahead.... "Most countries..." I wonder if she's talking about Europe only or is including North America. I love the song and listen nearly every day. It wears well unlike many songs on CHR that sound old & tired after continuous play. As for Oz - I'm really happy for fans there! But I admit that I'm getting a bit antsy for album #3 and an Adam Lambert single being played on US radio again after soooooo long. I just read Q3's post above & just want to add that I agree about the saturation in the NE. Add to that there is virtually no promo for the Philly/NJ concerts locally. And I'm in a rather large metropolitan area close to Philly & Jersey.

I like Jena's. Already DLed it. Caleb's sounds dated to me. Can't see it getting radio play. Very, very ccool though that he got a Justin Hawkins song! Very nice for Justin Hawkins -- who I love -- hope it sells a ton!! But no radio format for that track. *** Speaking of Idol, perhaps they were just teasing us with that Tweet. Although looking at the QAL tickets in Boston, Philly and a few other markets, I am now agreeing that Roger and Brian might fly over to promote this tour a bit. BTW -- Chicago is down to single tickets.

And I'm in a rather large metropolitan area close to Philly & Jersey. And no promo anywhere. They really relied on having large Queen and Adam. The first round of concerts had more PR hype. The 5 they added were just kind of added. Boston and Atlantic City really need some promo help. >> I want a "sold out tour"!! >> I want Adam to do some press rounds, interviews, perform -- cause I want to see him. >> I would not mind Adam and Queen showing up on Idol. Not expecting it but would like it. *** On LMD -- I hope that "most countries are ahead...." means that the US will be following but that seem less likely than ever now. Avicii "Addicted To You" has a June 3, 2014 impact date for US Mainstream Top 40, and since Avicii songs take a long time to move up and down the US charts, and Avicii has a new album in the works, the outlook for LMD to be a single here seems dim. In any case, I am hopeful that we get a real Adam single in August. Although that seems so far away. *** Excuse my spamming but this is Amazon Best Selling Albums #23 is Playlist by Adam Lambert up from #25 yesterday. It is only $7.00 so a good deal but still surprising.

Do you think it is too high? and what does this placement mean in the number of orders? Is it a couple of hundred? under a hundred? I haven't ordered yet but I am sure I'll order at some point...

Do you think it is too high? and what does this placement mean in the number of orders? Is it a couple of hundred? under a hundred? I haven't ordered yet but I am sure I'll order at some point... I think it is high for a greatest hits + rarities album that will be released May 27, 2014. >> No such thing as too high. >> It moved up quickly to #25 -- and that looked like it might be due to the great price -- but it has stayed on the Top 100 for 6 days. (It was on the Top 100 and fell out, this is the second time.) No one has any idea what a rank on Amazon album chart is equivalent to but usually these Playlist albums are low sellers and primarily sell in the value bins at brick-and-mortar retailers. For comparison, Phillip Phillips new album (releases on May 19) is at #84. His last album was platinum. [Not a fair comparison because this is also on presale on iTunes, Playlist is not on presale on iTunes. But best I can come up with.]
