My first post and hello everyone. Happy to say that I have QAL Melbourne tickets. Could not get through on the AL fan site pre-sale but no problem getting throughout on the visa pre-sale. Really excited (my first time seeing AL in a real concert setting) only seen him at the Caulfied Races gig last year in Melbourne Congrats snowgum and WELCOME !!!!    |

Yay!!! Congrats bridgey!!!!  Thanks - kept retrying on seats and when same stuff kept coming up grabbed the best ones and took the plunge. Poorer but happy (I know you all know what I mean). I feel the pain know exactly what you meant, just got a couple of floor tickets in last row of Section F, better seats came up after I took the plunge so I stopped checking to avoid buyer remorse LOL |

SUCCESS - I have 2 tickets to QAL Melbourne. Pretty good seats in first raised section to the side second section along from stage (didn't want floor as I can NEVER see over all the tall people in front of me)... (ok breathe now). AND my other half is going to come along. YAY!!! so happy for you.  Aww thanks |

That earthquake is right in the same (close enough) location as the last one was , in 2011. That one was a 5.8, so much stronger. I've just been through there with the car and drove past school after school in Louisa County that was nothing but temporary buildings, and at first I could not figure it out. And then it dawned on me: They had to tear down most major school buildings after the last earthquake and they are not yet done with that reconstruction. Same with some churches, and one court house. Is an area where you have one middle and one high school per county, and maybe a few more elem schools. Not heavily populated, but close to Lake Anna and therefore close to nuclear power plant. Nice rolling hills and green farmland, not much else there.
Yikes, though. Seems to rattle all the time there now, so far nothing too big, but still, kind of unsettling, what it might lead to.
