I am reasonably happy as well. I am shortish but want the floor experience. I have level 1 and level 2 seats (end zones) for Calgary and Edmonton so want to have floor seats for Melbourne. For me, the Fan Club seats are better than the VISA presale seats where I had difficulty getting through. Now that ticket buying stress is over with, I can carryon with RL now :-) Oh come, come. Having QAL tickets in hand *IS* RL !!!!!  You are absolutely correct.. where is my priority! |

Out of curiosity/boredom, I checked out the 2014 KISS performance to compare it to a previous Idol appearance. Their lead singer's voice has not aged well, and he really needs to not be singing for an audience these days. But, more than that, Gene Simmons is supposedly playing bass guitar, right? How is it that the bass line continues to play while he has his arms up in the air posing for the audience? He must be playing telepathically or something.
The fact that Queen's music is all completely LIVE and sounds so phenomenally good is a rarity in music these days.

It means Modified Tweet. That's when you make changes to the original tweet. In this case, Adam left out the words " Once in a Lifetime" and just put Australian Tour.
And No, I didn't already know this....but looked it up.
Thanks for the explanation! I hope that they are using the name "Once in a Lifetime Tour" for the whole tour and not just the Australian part!!!! And I hope they use the Queen + Adam Lambert logo with the fire red & orange in the words on t-shirts!!! I have some fire opal rhinestones that would really look good on top of that! I was wondering why Adam chose to leave out the "Once in a Lifetime" part. Could be a number or reasons, I suppose. But since that naming of the tour in the press came directly from Adam's quote from his MSG press conference....IDK. Does anyone know if this was started by the promoter or the Australian press or if "Once in a Lifetime" is being used in an official capacity by Queen? |

I never got the impression that THAT was going to be the name of the entire tour...sounded like a soundbite being used just for the Australian part - to me. Hey, Gene stood up for Adam, so it's all good, but Kiss made a career pretending, and did not even try all that hard to hide it. In the end, it was never about any vocals with Kiss. Their fans love them, and could not care less about what you and I hear or see. I never believed that they were live with Adam either (I mean, Adam was, but they? Nah, no buying it). |

My first post and hello everyone. Happy to say that I have QAL Melbourne tickets. Could not get through on the AL fan site pre-sale but no problem getting throughout on the visa pre-sale. Really excited (my first time seeing AL in a real concert setting) only seen him at the Caulfied Races gig last year in Melbourne Welcome snowgum!! Glad you joined us!!  |
