On tickets prices! Has anyone seen a ticket for $49.50? And the entire floor in almost every venue is over $200 And the front half of every floor is definitely over $200. Don't think my average is that far off! And there were very few of the lowest price. Cheapest I found at Forum were $97 and there were only a few rows of a few sections. Look at the ticket price without the fees and the VIP upgrades. Although Queen + Adam will get some of the money from the VIP packs, it does not go in the concert gross. >> The fees are taxes and to pay of revenue bonds. The $495 ticket is mostly an add-on for the stuff. Here are the tickets prices for Floor seating at Auburn Hills. So the $495 ticket is a $125 ticket plus a VIP pack. The back 3 sections of the floor are $85 there. US $85.00 - US $125.00 Here are all the ticket prices in Auburn Hills... VIP GENERAL ADMISSION US $125.00 US $125.00 Ticket + US $17.85 Fees = US $142.85 Floor seating US $85.00 - US $125.00 US $85.00 Ticket + US $14.45 Fees = US $99.45 US $125.00 Ticket + US $17.85 Fees = US $142.85 Club seating (100 or lower level) US $55.00 - US $125.00 US $55.00 Ticket + US $11.25 Fees = US $66.25 US $125.00 Ticket + US $17.85 Fees = US $142.85 Loge seating (200 or upper level) US $35.00 - US $85.00 US $35.00 Ticket + US $10.80 Fees = US $45.80 US $85.00 Ticket + US $14.45 Fees = US $99.45 *** LA Forum - highest priced ticket is $149.50. Range: US $39.50 - US $149.50 Floor: US $172.10(US $149.50 + US $22.60 fees) ** And there are more tickets on the levels than on the floor in most venues....the top level has the most seats in many venues. ** While I am not sitting on the top level, if I could not afford the expensive tickets, I might buy one of those $66 tickets. ** I just purchases 2 tickets to Chicago last night on the 100 level for $105 no VIP Pack. And pretty good seats. (Magically my family now likes Adam!! Too bad they could not have decided this during GNT when the venues were small and the tickets were only $42!) ETA: You are also looking at the venues that have very few tickets left. So those upper level tickets at the Forum that are $90 now were $49 when tickets went on sale. Ticketmaster changes prices over time to sell out the venue BUT maximize revenue.

Do you think Adam will shave his beard/mustache for the Queen tour? I have really grown to like the look. #whateveradamwantsis finewithme!! He had just a bit of stubble for Las Vegas iHR MF... That is my bet -- bit-o-stubble. My question is will he have the sides shaved or be more like this? *** And equally important -- what will he wear??

There were lots of lower priced tics at Vancouver ...the top sections were around 72.50 and 47.50. All that is left of that level now is the $ 102. Tickets, according to Ticketmaster.

There were tickets in the $30-range at many venues when the public sale started. All on the top tier. Some required a coupon. None were great seats but they existed.
ETA: There are tons of tickets in Atlantic City -- so great seats on 100 level are $55. Floor is $149.50.

In the ticket price average question, doesn't the Festivals throw another wrench in the works. While I know little or nothing about any of this, has it not been said that there is a premium fee up front for these types of concerts? Hopefully big big bucks

Hopefully big big bucks The three festival dates will not count as part of the tour gross. The headliners always received a big guarantee for these events and my bet is Queen + Adam get a bonus for a sold out event on their days. It will be a big number and a very lucrative tour. There is no way to figure out the average ticket prices because they will continue to change. I expect that they might discount Atlantic City in July. Beyond that, all I have seen is Ticketmaster move the prices up since the US sale started.

A couple of days ago craazy wrote that singers with a broad range have more options when singing a rangy song. They are not stuck in just one key. Our boy sings the SSB in the last clip in the key of of C. Bottom note a C3. Top note a G4. The usual 1.5 or so octaves. In the middle clip, he sings it a full step higher. Bottom note D3. Top note tho', he adds the flourish and runs all the way up to a D5, for two full octaves. The Broadway clip is just ridiculous showing off as only a singer of Adam's quality can do. Tho' he skips the beginning with the lowest notes (not because he can't sing them, but for time), he starts the song at the very top of a great tenor's range: A4, Bb4 up to C5 in the first five notes. Then, just cuz the boy can and it's Broadway and it's his peers, he belts up to a full-voiced F5. (Leaving other classically trained tenors green with envy) And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how it is done when you are Adam Fuckin' Lambert. This post gave me "goosies" Thank you cassie.

I have been on vacation and have done nothing but sink into the rabbit hole...QAL, Adam, Orlando, Winstar, anything with the complete show...I am loving it! I stopped long enough to make folders in my Youtube download file for each of the Tour Dates. WOW...32!!! amazing!!! Will they add more??? probably. I don't want to miss a single video for any of the shows. Then I will move or copy them to my 2 external drives so I can have them forever. Q3 & Talon I have loved everything Queen you have posted, can't wait to see what they actually choose. I do think they will also change it up a bit along the way. Brian was right when he said they had so many hits to choose from. I'm so excited I can barely stand it!!!! LadyM I'm so happy to see you back and LOVE all the great pictures you're posting.
