We're less than a month out from the first QAL show. For those of you who bought VIP packages, has anyone gotten their VIP stuff yet from Ticketmaster? I thought they're supposed to mail us a T-shirt & other stuff??

Here is a short new article from Austria about the Australian dates of the Queenbert tour! www.wegotit.at/queen-gehen-auf-australien-tour/The last sentence of the article says that there will also be a European tour at the beginning of 2015. ??? (... I seriously doubt that!)

Do you think Adam will shave his beard/mustache for the Queen tour? I have really grown to like the look. #whateveradamwantsis finewithme!! He had just a bit of stubble for Las Vegas iHR MF... That is my bet -- bit-o-stubble. My question is will he have the sides shaved or be more like this? *** And equally important -- what will he wear?? I know a lot of people want all the glam and costuming - I would love it if he just stuck to the understated IHeart look - it was totally OTT sexy!!

I just watched the Alfie Boe documentary. Wow! Apart from the obvious similarities, (gay, theatrical) there's Freddie being self conscious about his teeth and Adam about his skin. Both felt they were outsiders growing up. Listening to Alfie trying to sing 'The Show must go on' just goes to show how amazing Adam is in that he is classically trained but can still get the passion in and tell a story when he sings. Yes, I know that's an unfair comparison as Alfie was only 19 when he made that demo. I did like Alfie's 'Mother Love' as he seemed to be able to turn off his operatic voice and his Barcelona was sensational. Here it is again for those who may have missed it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSuLhVFSQZM

Most of us going to Chicago got an email about picking a size for our tshirts only last week, with a mention that the "package" of stuff might come anytime up to or after the event. So who knows when we'll get them. I haven't gotten a email for my LA package yet.

What a gorgeous picture!!! IMHO this Cinnamon Spice hair color is the most flattering of all the hair colors I've seen on Adam. The facial hair in this color looks really good, but I never liked the facial hair in black which just looked unnatural on him.

IntenseForwardMotion @alalwayz 5m Adam Lambert mention. RT @ultclassicrock: Huge news from @queenwillrock. Read here! bit.ly/queen-nextBrian May Reveals New Queen Album Title, Release Plansby Ken Kelley May 26, 2014 9:56 AM In a recent BBC Wales Radio Interview, Queen guitarist Brian May confirmed that the group will be releasing a new record later this year which will feature a selection of previously unreleased songs sung by Freddie Mercury. News of the album first surfaced from at the end of January but the guitarist shared additional details when he and photographer Denis Pellerin were recently speaking with radio host Wynne Evans. “We found a few more tracks with Freddie singing and all of us playing and they are quite beautiful. People will be hearing this work towards the end of the year,” May says. “We are going to put out an album which will probably be called ‘Queen Forever.’ It is a compilation but will have this material that nobody in the world has ever heard. I think people will really enjoy it.” Asked by the host to describe the unreleased tracks featuring the late Freddie Mercury, May says, “Most of it comes from the ’80′s when we were in full flight. It is quite emotional. It is the big, big ballads and the big, big epic sound. It wouldn’t have been if we hadn’t have done this restoration job. We had to start from scratch because we only had scraps. But knowing how it would have happened if we had finished it, I can sit there and make it happen with modern technology.” As we wait for ‘Queen Forever’ to drop later this year, the group had previously shared they may also do some recording with current vocalist Adam Lambert. Queen and Lambert will be embarking on a tour which kicks off on June 19 in Chicago.
