Thanks, grandduchess, for the house tour. It was great fun. Though we aren't likely to get such a tour after he moves in, it will be interesting to see snippets - and see if and where certain current possessions are on display.
So... Adam, besides thinking about song choices and performance apparel choices, has had all this house stuff on his mind as well. Yikes! Hopefully he has a designer he trusts so he doesn't have to worry about decorating choices while he is on tour.
And as the dates keep getting added to the tour, he can splurge a little if he wants... (Though nothing has been said, is it possible/likely that there will be a China stop before Australia?)

I am ridiculously, deliriously happy that Adam has bought a house. And I am not overly invested/obsessed. Yeah! Right! The timing of the purchase at first seemed odd, but then I figured he would have extensive remodeling and decorating done, which Mom could oversee while he is off earning money to pay for the place. I was also a bit surprised that there was no pool. But, again, upon reflection it makes sense. Adam has said he is not much of a swimmer in an ocean or pool. If you are not going to use the pool regularly, it is a huge money pit in terms of upkeep. The tropical waterfall is more his style, I think. Would Adam have paid for the house in full, or would he have a mortgage? Just curious how much capital he has sunk into it. How much of his Queenbert tour profits this year funnel directly into the house? I would think for tax purposes he'd want a mortgage, but it's been so long since I've had to deal with high finance, I could be wrong. By the way, I keep getting kicked off, not sure why. b He wants a mortgage for tax purposes. ** Sorry that you get bumped off. Hope it stops. |

Adam's house is gorgeous! So unique. I seem to remember soon after Idol when he was talking about wanting a house, he said something about wanting a comfy Moroccan-style room for relaxing and "having a bowl."  . That sitting room with the fabric on the ceiling certainly fits that, lol. I can certainly envision some decorating changes. From the peeks we've had of Adam's condo, he seems to like dark colors. I want him to have his privacy, but I'd love to see his finished home. |

all i have to say is, if that is the prior owners furniture and colors they really did not have much imagination or adventure in their souls. And if it the Realtor set up they need another dresser! the swoopy cloth on the ceiling of the sun room? Really? At least use some nicer fabric. IMHO or perhaps not so humble!! That is the "bong" room, my dear!! The swoopy thing is perfect! What is a "bong" room? |
