Dimmers! House in the hills with a gym! THANK YOU FOR THIS! Adam had me at "Mama" but I was not savvy about the information possibilities of the internet and youtube back in 2009. It never occurred to me to try and follow what was happening with my favorite Idol contestant. So, I missed most of the stuff from the Idol tour and PR. I have heard about Adam wanting dimmers for four years, and finally I see the interview where he said it. Perfect! ETA: I have added it to our thread of favorite interviews for archival purposes, so we can find it again later. Listening to the Cooke interview and reading the excellent Aussie online interview I am again impressed with how damned socially intelligent Adam is. He sounds comfortable and confident but not the slightest bit full of himself. He is humble and filled with gratitude and a sense of excitement and positive energy. He laughs easily and often. He is witty, yet rarely snarky and never mean.
He has talking points he makes sure to fit in whatever interview he does, yet it doesn't sound scripted. He obviously charms interviewers and makes them feel like they have a personal connection with him. He smartly remembers previous conversations and topics. He can expand on any question, even the most ridiculous or bumbling ones, which makes him a dream to talk with. His interviews are full of perfect sound bites.
The guy has so much talent and smarts and potential in so many areas. He has his choice of which ones to pursue. Can't wait to see and hear more.
