I think this recent interview finally confirms he is signed to a label.... I am wonder what will surprise and impress? SURPRISE BUT NOT IMPRESS: Hip hop, Europop, 80's covers, 70's covers, Country or Western, Bulgarian Folk Dances..... Maybe he will just be singing and there will not be all that stuff? That would both SURPRISE AND IMPRESS me!

Oh, Lilly we need Cassie or one of our other vocal experts for opera. I will stick to pop, rock and other fun stuff.
I like some opera -- Italian yes, Wagner not so much, Der Ring des Nibelungen (The Ring of the Nibelung) is like torture to me! But I am so far from an aficionado I do not think I can comment.
But I have a question for anyone from the UK: Why do so many people sing opera pieces on reality TV shows there? Did someone become famous doing it and start a trend? Joe McElderry (UK XFactor winner (2009) performed at Pittsburgh Pride before Adam and he did Nessun Dorma which was OK but really not appropriate for a street festival concert. He seemed very nice and enthusiastic -- but not too memorable beyond being a nice looking young man. [He also won Popstar to Operastar in 2011, a UK Realty TV show. Strange concept.]
