I just had a dream that I was in the first QAL show, in Chicago (the show I actually have tickets for). I was alone, but standing next and talking to someone from this board. In the dream I knew exactly who it was, but now I don’t. We were standing in section 6, the section I have tickets for, but when the show was about to begin, everybody, including us, started walking into the front sections. The big screen showed Adam backstage just as he started walking towards the stage, holding his mic. He was wearing tight black clothes (what a shocker!) and looking beautiful. Then I saw that the musicians were already on stage, waiting. I saw Brian real close to me. They started playing a tender song which I don’t know, and Adam started singing in a soft ethereal voice. We could hear him, but we couldn’t see him yet. He sang the first 2 lines, and then I woke up, so didn’t get to dream his entrance to the stage. I can still sing these 2 lines, but I’ll soon forget. ~~~
I take this dream to mean that I’m eventually making peace with the fact that I will NOT be in this concert or any other QAL concert. My whole US trip was cancelled through no fault of mine. I’ve known this for quite some time now, but I couldn’t bring myself to put my tickets up for sale, because it makes it so final... Oh katycake, I'm so so so sorry you can't go!! No way around it??

Yes, this appears to be a new photo. Rehearsals have begun. And we know only 1 song that is on the setlist -- "Dragon Attack". Thanks to Adam!!! It also seems that he confirmed he will be singing AOBTD, TSMGO and WWTLF -- but he actually did not confirm these three. None of these are surprises.

Thanks Q3 and adamrocks! hoppers - thanks for your concern. I've been trying to find ways to go for the past month or more, but I'm afraid it won't be possible. It's sad, because unlike Q3, I think it IS the last chance. I think Roger and Brian are enthusiastic for one more tour, and afterwards would probably want take it easy and chill. That's what I would do! But I'm very good at cheering myself up, so I'm ok .

Talk here (where I live) about how it's the first day of Green Bay Packer practice. I was so tempted to say it is also the first day of Queen/Adam Lambert practice...

That's what I would do! But I'm very good at cheering myself up, so I'm ok . I think this may well be their last big tour -- but I am convinced of two things: 1. They will not end this tour in Brisbane, Australia -- at they least they will perform in or near London -- and they will end it with a more dramatic finish. JMHO and I could be wrong. - In 1986 -- they ended the first life of Queen August 9, 1986, Knebworth Park, Stevenage Country UK. - For the Q+PR Tour 2008 -- they played 2 concerts in London then ended in Rio. 2. Both Brian and Roger are not retiring, they are working on at least 3 major Queen projects now plus all their other pursuits. Just keeping up with what Brian does exhausts me! And there in NO chance this tour is the end of Queen. They will perform again -- maybe not mount a big tour, but they will not stop yet. Whatever else, unless Brian or Roger end up with an insurmountable health issue. We do not know how or when this will all end. >> One last reason I think this is not the end, everyone (Adam, Brian and Roger) seem to be having too much fun to stop. >> And the audience is there for this. *** On a related note, Adam has proven to be a bigger draw than I think anyone (except core Adam fans) expected. I hope that the tour has one more leg so that LiveNation really believes in Adam's ability to headline arenas. This is a very unusual chance for an artist who does not have mega hits to prove they are an arena-worthy act and to build an audience for a future tour. Now if A3 can spawn a bit hit or two, we can get an Adam Tour!

I don't think they're going to retire, just that they'll probably be busy with their own projects, which are more low key, and not with Adam. There are more and more hints that the new Queen album will be released this year, so this tour will probably promote that to some extent?
