I do not think Adam ever wore a tribal headdress. There was this one....but it is a piece of artwork and contemporary. Pharrell wore a "real" headdress which appears to be a copy of a Sioux war bonnet (someone here may know for sure). They are not something you put on for a photo shoot. The headdress has real meaning -- and each feather has to be earned. He (or someone involved with this) should have known better. Didn't he wear one at some party? With Sauli? ETA: Found it.

No, Adam dressed as a glam Indian....and Sauli is not wearing anything authentic either. It is possible that Adam might have worn a warbonnet but not that I recall. ETA: This is a Sioux Warbonnet -- and that is what Pharrell is wearing and that is why it is offensive. There are different versions for different plains tribes but this is not considered something to be worn as a costume. There is no doubt that Adam is wearing feathers, not a warbonnet. If Pharrell wore a hoodie and color coordinated with a purple heart, silver star, and other US military medals of valor it would be sort of equivalent. A warbonnet has ceremonial importance and is sacred.

I entered the iHeart contest just for fun. Stranger things have happened. I entered exactly once for the Rock My Town event and won but couldn't go since I only found out that I won the day before the event. I hope Mys*&@^#r wins a ticket.

I've entered, too. Couldn't help it.
The event falls during a week my DH and I will be vacationing at 'Carmel-By-The-Sea' . . . just one of the most beautiful, romantic places on god's green earth . . .
I've never been a winner! Please, not this time!
Please, this time!
I'm a conflicted soul. Clearly.

I entered. Only thing I've ever won was 6 cans of dog food and I didn't have a dog. Looks like the universe would smile once in a while for me. sigh
