I'm watching another singing show called "Sing Your Face Off". Sort of like Dancing With The Stars and even includes one celebrity that was on DWTS. The celebrities spin a wheel to determine which singing star they will impersonate the next week. They get singing coaching, choreography, wardrobe, and makeup that makes they look rather like the person they are impersonating. For the most part, the singing is not that great, but the comedy has me in laughing a lot. The first contestant tonight impersonated Freddie singing We Are The Champions. It was OK, but I wasn't impressed. He got eliminated tonight. The last contestant, 15 year old Disney star China Anne McClain, impersonated Alicia Keys singing This Girl Is On Fire. She was REALLY, REALLY GOOD! ITA she was really "on fire". The show, however, is terrible! ABC is burning off the 6 episodes they bought -- 2 a week -- with 4 shows already broadcast, and only 2 more shows which will both air next week and POOF it will be gone.

I too am enjoying reading everyone's experience with trying to introduce Adam to family and friends.
I have a couple of friends in my belly dance troupe that I have gotten together with for years to watch Dancing With The Stars. Both of them had also watched American Idol and were big on the 2 Davids the season before Adam. Then one night at our DWTS viewing, they told me I just had to watch this guy sing Satisfaction on the first AI live show of that season and pulled it up on Tivo. That was all it took and our weekly DWTS night now became about watching both DWTS and Adam on AI. One of these friends still very much loves Adam but she is not into anything on computers. So I give her CDs & DVDs of the really good recordings. The other friend, while she loved Adam on Idol, has not shown that much interest other than going to the GNT show when it came to our town.
No one in my family cares much for Adam. The summer of GNT, I went on vacation with Dad and my brother. I brought along CDs of Adam's Idol songs and FYE. Mostly they made comments about Adam "screeching", etc. But then I didn't care much for their music either. The only thing we could agree on was a CD by Bobbie Darrin.
My youngest sister came with me to the July 2012 concert at the Winstar. Mostly, it was a weekend to get away from thinking about her divorce. We got there half an hour before the concert started. She spent so much time chilling out and getting ready that she missed half of the concert. I didn't miss a second! She was OK with the concert, but was not an Adam convert by any means. She was not interested in going to the NYE 2013 Winstar concert with me.
This sister and my Dad are big Freddie/Queen fans. But my sister's response to my asking if she wanted to go to a QAL concert was "Fred is dead". My Dad was not interested in going either.
Then over Easter I was visiting Dad and working on his computer. I had WWFM from Acoustic Live playing on Dad's sound system when he walked in and asked who was singing. "Adam Lambert" I said, and then he said maybe he would have to change his mind about Adam. Yea! Progress! But I expect that only if Adam sang certain types of songs would my Dad be really into Adam.

I saw another tweet where someone mentioned that opening a Google+ account automatically opens a YouTube account, since Google owns both. Could be that Adam is just getting on Google+ in the same say as Facebook.

Thanks for posting these pictures, ladym - they really, to me, show one of the reasons those of us here love him so much. And why we want to share with others what a great person he is. The talent - goes without saying. And rather than leveling off, my respect and affection for him keep growing. It is amazing that one person can make so many happy, but he does. So glad I walked by that TV five years ago! I am so thankful for the internet and this place. Thanks to all who post here.
