Oh, I was thinking Adamrocks was referring to Adam and Sauli's first meeting.
But perhaps it was the Beyonce incident!!

I've got a nephew (age 35) who was a Queen fan back in the 90's, but does not follow them now. He is skeptical about QAL (not a reality show kind of guy) and I want to show him a couple of videos to win him over. I don't want to overwhelm him or seem like I'm pushing too much! Does anyone have any suggestions? Dear Happy, I would recommend Crazy Little Thing Called Love - I am crazy about Adam's interpretation of that song. It's fun, not dramatic and his voice/interpretation is amazing. IHeart radio performance in particular. Good luck! Thank you aleks ! I love this, too. Because Adam can show his juicy low register

No, I think, we are talking exactly about Beyonce and Co. and nothing happened in Finland that had anything to do with elevators, as far as I know. The discretion of this particular hotel is not exactly what I would try to advertise these days. Not that I think Roger or Rufus are planning to kick and punch anyone, but obviously with this hotel we would find out, if they were. Rumor has it that the employee lost his job, but can live quite comfortably off the TMZ check for a while. ================================= In other topics: I made a post about the vocals of this Ricardo Afonso (TSMGO), where the video was posted earlier. Put it in the vocal masterclass thread, as it is more about vocals, rather than about Adam news, but if you are interested, here is the link: adamtopia.com/post/501889/thread================= Finally, Q3, I only caught up with yesterday's thread, and your story about your visit to the Farmshow Complex in Harrisburg, and this imbibed Queen opening act of a Mott the Hopple concert, and all that came from it, was a fascinating read! As were many other early stories. Thank you so much, so enriching to hear what others have encountered along the way.

I saw another tweet where someone mentioned that opening a Google+ account automatically opens a YouTube account, since Google owns both. Could be that Adam is just getting on Google+ in the same say as Facebook. Opening a Google+ account does not automatically open a YT account. The only automatic link I can think of is that opening a Gmail account gets you a Google+, or vice versa. I think, since his Google+ has those lovely Cherry pics (it's personalised), that its opening is obviously intentional. His YT account also has his pic which he uses as his twitter avi, so I would say it's all intentional.

I think THAT elevator was in Finland! Well thanks!! Now you are just getting me more intrigued....I find I need to know about Finnish elevators or I can't get on with my day.... (7am here - please don't go to sleep over there and leave me hanging...) Don't trust me on this, but I think when Adam and Sauli went out in a club ( I just realized clubs don't have elevators - see how reliable my knowledge of this rumour is) were in a hotel in Finland, someone also present said that they got in an elevator and were 'mysteriously' stuck for a 'convenient' amount of time there. Rumours, as far as I know.

I remember that first night in London at some point in there was some kind of fireworks on stage. I've been looking, but I have not been able to find that fireworks from video. Remembers someone? After which song it was? Thank you for your kind reply! You were really fast, you know the answer right away! I was not able to send you a pm, because your name is not even appeared in the "recipients". ?

Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences of introducing Adam to your friends and family members. I enjoyed reading it a lot - and I sort of could relate with some feelings of most of you as regards trying to introduce Adam to people and not undestand how it's possible they don't fall under his spell immediately. I just hope thanks to QAL tour and A3 there will be more (much more) new fans discovering how amazing and special Adam is.

Thank you, adamrocks :-) I'm mostly lurking here lately, trying to keep up with all these wonderful news, but with too much work and kid (school problems ) and some major problems with my computer just feel too tired all the time to form any coherent thoughts to share with you all Hope as the summer gets better and cooler and all the fun begins for real I'll join you all with incoherent joyful shouts
JanuarySnow..good to hear from you! We miss you! Hope you'll post more again! Hi JanuarySnow! Nice to see you here.

We just have to hope that that it didn't have CCTV!! Some things are better left unseen....

JMHO, I credit Rolling Stone Magazine for turning the tide with their review of Queen + Adam Lambert 2013. Rolling Stone has never been pro-Queen and this one review was more important in setting the tone for QAL than anything else. One final thought -- it may be that Adam forces rock critics and fans to come to grips with the uncomfortable fact that one of the greatest rock frontman of all time (Freddie Mercury) was not really a rock singer? But was as much a pop, disco, music hall, theater singer?I'm late to respond, but this Telegraph review from two years ago strikes me as funny as it did back then--red parts. Apparently, the reviewer never saw many of Freddie's stage costumes if he is criticizing Adam's medges, etc. And Freddie's "camp machismo"? I'm sorry but I don't see anything machismo about Freddie. He had a mustache. Maybe you had to be there. And Adam's lack of "operatic bombast"--whatever. We apparently have different ideas of what that means. As I was rereading the Rolling Stone review, I realized that there is no comment about Nate's performance other than he performed. Interesting. Q3, I loved your final thought.
