Aww, thank you very much, Lady!!! Though I can't take credit for this work all by myself - I created the initial image and then my son added all that elegance and monochromatic refinement :-) I think that for 9-year-old he has quite an artistic vision *proud-mom* |

I do it out of sheer altruism - the idea that there are people who don't know/like Adam is so incomprehensible that it feels like they have been deprived of some of the basic cornerstones of our well-being and prosperity on this planet, things like air-conditioning, or caramel crunch frappuccinos, or wi-fi. I do it because I love them, not Adam:)
Of course, if I fail in my persuasion, I think there is something wrong with them. It's like when people tell me they don't like strawberries. It's just not normal;))) And I'm only half kidding.

This is his last day here and he's coming for a family dinner tonight -- maybe I can nab him for a few minutes and show him a little bit of the iHR to catch his attention! Thanks for your help everyone. Just a question inspired by this post, can you or someone else explain to me why Adam fans do this so much? I have shown videos of Adam and QAL to a handful of people over the years, mostly in my family, and I have never done it with any other artist. So I am not being critical. I am really just curious. What are we trying to accomplish? Do we want to explain why we are willing to travel long distances to see Adam perform? Do we want to justify spending so much time following an artist? Are we trying to share the experience? Are we trying to prove how right/smart we are? Is it something else? I guess we just try to open people's eyes and ears and minds . It's hard for a person who has vision to live in a blind world , I'm telling you !! |

I've "introduced" Adam to only a handful of people and usually if they asked - like when he toured out here and a couple of friends were interested (one came to concert with me)... |

I am noticing more and more Queen references in commercials. Watching the Belmont Stakes and there was a commercial for the Rangers hockey match and it was all set to Under Pressure. LOL

Thank you, adamrocks :-) I'm mostly lurking here lately, trying to keep up with all these wonderful news, but with too much work and kid (school problems  ) and some major problems with my computer just feel too tired all the time to form any coherent thoughts to share with you all    Hope as the summer gets better and cooler and all the fun begins for real I'll join you all with incoherent joyful shouts  |

I rarely share songs from Adam with other people anymore. I've had a few negative reactions, and some indifferent. And he is so near to my heart that I can't help getting defensive when that happens. And it hurts a bit as well. Even if it is only about taste in music, which varies, I know. But how can you not love this great voice? So I just don't bring Adam up anymore actively. I do sneak in a couple of his songs when I'm controlling Spotify on friday night drinks, of course. The only ones that like Adam from the people near to me are my two sons (3 & 6 years old). They mostly like his GLEE stuff, though. Even the youngest is singing 'oh oh oh I jus wanna be a wockstaw'. I say get to them while they are still young and impressionable.  |
