A coming out story that will touch your heart. It took him much longer than Adam to realize how important it was to be a role model for kids and adults. Listening to him I am struck again by how brave and authentic Adam has been from the beginning.
In 2007 he denied that he was gay. He attempted suicide multiple times as a teenager. I guess the pressure of living in the closet was so hard, it took long enough before he finally came out. I'm so glad Adam decided to come out early at his career, so he doesn't have to always look behind his shoulder afraid being caught. IMO, his bravery is actually paving the way for others to come out, but not many people acknowledge it.

Happy birthday lisaharrington, nic42 and webdeon! Are we on page2 yet?
Welcome lumpia! Your name makes me hungry and want some lumpia. I take it you're from SE Asia?
Thanks for all the welcome greetings, everyone. adamme - yes, I am originally from SE Asia now residing in SOCAL. I got VIP package to watch QAL on July 3rd at the FORUM. It's my first time to watch my all time favorite band and singer together in 1 show so i am really excited.

I so agree with both of your posts Cassie and Adamme. I still remember when Oprah interviewed Adam and said he was making a difference. And I think AT&T and Adam joinigng up again this year to sponsor Live Proud shows how much Adam is a model for the LGBT community.

Repeating myself but it depends on the music. I will not post the numbers today because I have to get back to work, but check out the numbers thread. CC stations did play the single from Trespassing and they will give the single from A3 a shot. It is up to Adam to deliver the music. BTIKM got to number 17 on HAC. Official Sunday number was 18. It had over 100 stations spinning it. Thanks! I know someone would have the numbers! *** It is really important that this myth that is being created that "radio doesn't play" Adam's music or that Trespassing was a commercial failure is crushed at every opportunity. Adam got airplay. Trespassing was a #1 album. Trespassing was the #188 selling album of 2012 -- including catalog albums and greatest hits and NOW! and Christmas albums. Maybe it was not the major hit that fans wanted but JMHO I would rather Adam has that 4/5 star review from Rolling Stone and the great review from Billboard. Someday when "Blurred Lines" is a novelty song and living with the "Macarena", Trespassing will be a sparkly reminder of the brilliance of Adam Lambert. Now on to A3. I am ready to be surprised and amazed. <off my soapbox>

Can someone please refer me to the sites where tickets are being offered to sell? I have 4 tickets for Mohegan Sun Concert #1 to sell in Section 1, Row F, Seats 3-6. I am looking to sell at cost and am not thrilled about the service fees through Stub Hub that I would need to add onto my tickets to break even. Thanks!

lumpia, I used to work with some nurses from the Philippines, and became well acquainted with the food they would make and bring to share. Loved lumpia, pancit, lechon, bitter melon, adobo, halo halo, well, now I'm making myself hungry! And the tremendous variety of fruits and vegetables, amazing when compared to the relatively few we use here in the States. I learned a lot about cooking, but never really mastered pancit. Could never make it as tasty as it can be. But I do a mean salmon adobo!
On topic? Adam is yummy.

Have they announced the winner for next week's iHeart preview show? Not yet as far as I can tell. All it said was "Winners will be contacted on June 9th". But since I never will anything, I will have to find out when someone else wins!

At this point best bet for a direct to fan sale is to use Twitter. Tweet to @adam_Tickets and they will retweet. Fans are following that account and retweeting. ETA: If you don't sell them in a few days, you may wish to also list those tickets on Stub Hub because they will probably sell there even with the fees. Just check the sale prices before you set the price. If you are not too greedy, you will do fine.
