Thanks all for the best wishes! We love the new house...I just kind of wish I could fast forward the next few days. Started painting the kids rooms and it is taking much longer than hoped for Movers coming this morning for the big stuff, but I'm not sure where it's all going since our new bedroom set is smack dab where our table is going....Why? Because the wife wanted to twice shampoo the new carpet. So between our bedroom having a wet carpet, and the 3 kids rooms having paint, I'm not sure where I'm directing everything to go. Additionally, I'm a bit worried about my washer/dryer making it into the basement. There's a narrow section of the basement stairs. The previous owner got theirs in and out but I'm wondering if mine is bigger... THEN there's still so much crap left to purge/take over for the weekend! Don't get me wrong, I'm excited...just exhausted and wishing it to be done I NEED MY COFFEE. ANYWAYS, I do have priorities...so give me a second.... CONGRATS!! SO exciting! Coffee for you Talon!

I love this set design. It will make for very dramatic entrances and exits with that curved ramp coming from behind the lighted circle. The VIP stage seating diagram had a big screen at the back of the stage. So I think this circle is in front of that screen and must be able to lift up? Unless they can project onto it from behind. But it that is also the big video display element, and they have pyro and fire, and they put Freddie video on it, I think it will remind me of this....

I find Adam's use of the word "nostalgia" interesting. There are so many young Queen fans, I noticed some of the "there's no Queen without Freddy [sic]" folks were teens or young adults. In any case, it'll also be the first time for many Queen fans who were too young the first time they were around.

This is definitely worth reading. After having read it I'm even more grateful that Adam is gone from RCA!

www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2014/06/12/britney-spears-manager-course-lip-syncs/?intcmp=featuresBrief article on Britney lip-syncing. How is it related to Adam? The show we will see this summer is TOTALLY LIVE, with no backing tracks, no lip-syncing, no back up singers filling in for stars who cannot sing, no mics with auto-tune, and, I am thinking no Las Vegas style dance troupes to cover the fact that the star cannot dance any longer either. What audiences will see this summer is definitely spectacle of the grandest sort, but also real, old-fashioned, authentic, talented, LIVE performance at its very best. In the pop music world today, that is very rare. The new pop stars can't do it. The legacy rock acts are at an age where their lead singers, by and large, cannot sing like they did in the height of their fame. Many folks want to see these acts regardless, because they love the artists or celebrities, and because the shows are highly entertaining and/or nostalgic. Nothing wrong with that. Queen, tho', has the legacy, the long-time experience, the skill set, and the catalog of great songs, plus a young, highly trained, one in a billion voiced frontman who can make the music fully alive and of stellar quality. It is gonna be jaw-dropping!
