I find Adam's use of the word "nostalgia" interesting. There are so many young Queen fans, I noticed some of the "there's no Queen without Freddy [sic]" folks were teens or young adults. In any case, it'll also be the first time for many Queen fans who were too young the first time they were around. A friend's daughter is like that and she is only 20! I really do get it, but I always tell her that Freddie wasn't the only person to craft their music and the surviving members still want to express their music. Thankfully she is a artist so she understands my perspective. |

This Oklahoma freak doesn't seem worth the attention he's getting. I went and looked up this race -- it is for a seat in the state legislature. There are five people running. One of them is a Marine Corps veteran with three degrees who appears to have a thriving and respected legal practice. Seems all but certain to win. That there are still people running around with this guy's stupid views makes me sad but anyone can pay the modest filing fee to run. I wonder sometimes about the agenda it serves to air them nationwide. The shock value for the press is hard to pass... IMO any exposure of tea-nuts is a good thing - it might galvanize people to vote against these lunatics... At the moment I can't get over yesterday's student loan refinance bill filibuster by repubs... UGGHHHHH... ok, no more politics... mys*&@^#r - I also thought it was Adam in the rehearsal picture!  Hoping this will galvanize young people to get out and vote this November. Often the turn-out in a non-presidential election is low because too many voters think it doesn't matter. It matters.

I'm not even reading any of the comments anywhere about Adam's tweet - I knew (and he must have known) that he was going to catch all kinds of s%*t for making anti-gun statements. But I think the people who will hate him for that would never have liked him anyway. But those people are absolutely nuts.  ETA: the student loan filibuster - I hope people pay attention. |

I am probably certifiable. I've taken the Mama design and had a rhinestone pattern created for the whole thing. What a learning curve but I loved the touches of rhinestones I put on the transfer so much. here it is.  |
