I think if you want a sit-down concert, one should go to classical music or QE!

Hi Everyone! This is off topic, but I feel it is important information to anyone who will be using the train to get to your concert. Especially, if you are traveling the same day as the concert. I am and have been monitoring the departure time of my train daily for a week and a half now. This all started when I was checking the departure time and noticed that the train was running 7 hours late. Since then I have found that the train is late quite often. Ranging from 30 minutes to 7 hours late. Rarely is it on time! So I called and talked to an agent. I was told that recently the freight trains are experiencing increased shipping demands and that if they have a problem it affects the passenger trains as they have to wait until the problem is solved. They use the same track and the freight trains have priority. I would just die if I missed a second of my concert!!! I am going to change my departure day. I am not feeling lucky! I wish everyone safe travels and good luck with their travel time if using the train system!! I was thinking to travel 17th from Philadelphia to New York (I have no idea yet what time). Are the trains delayed in this section? Nope. East Coast trains are awesome (although somewhat expensive). Short of a complete breakdown, trains over 10-15 minutes late on the Amtrak line are a big deal. I've missed far more trains running just a minute or two behind schedule than been delayed by them. Also note, Amtrak has changed their policy recently on the NE corridor. It used to be if you missed your train you just caught the next one. No biggie. But now if you have any kind of a reserved seat you're toast. Its like airline seats. The old policy still holds for unreserved (which I always tends to get anyways since - unless its Thanksgiving weekend - you can always find a seat).

I think everybody can enjoy whatever kind of concert they want to go to and not have to pass on one because they can't stand the whole time. Sitting in the balcony levels you can still enjoy the electricity and energy of the concert like those who can endure standing the whole time. It's one big 'standing and sitting QAL Par-Tay' that everyone can enjoy!

i stood during the WAG WB concert & most of the 3 GNT concerts. But many others did not. I know Rock/Queen concerts are not the same thing, but I'm pretty sure there will be some non-hardcore people there who will not stand throughout the concert. And there will be people there who are not able to stand for two hours - I'm sure of it. :D

Doesn't stop me from going.

And if people want to stand some in the balcony that's fine with me, too. I'll stand some too! It's just nice to be able to sit down when you need it!

I would die if I'll be late Queenbert concert.
