Could the movie Wayne's World have led a prepubescent Adam Lambert to Queen?
No way? Way!
Back in 1992, when Lambert was 10 years old, he saw the film's lead characters Wayne Campbell (Mike Myers) and Garth Algar (Dana Carvey) banging their heads to "Bohemian Rhapsody"... and he lost his mind.
"I thought, 'What is that song? It's so cool!' Lambert said during a press conference with Queen to announce the band's upcoming North American tour with the singer. "My dad said, 'Here, son. This is Queen.' I pulled out the Queen stuff [from my dad's record collection] and really dove in. I got to hear it on vinyl, which felt very legit."
Lambert retained his adoration of Queen, even as he performed in musical theater as a teen and developed into a pop singer in his 20s. When he auditioned for American Idol in 2009, one of the songs he sang was "Bohemian Rhapsody." And for his performance in the finale that year, he sang "We Are the Champions" with Queen guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor.

I'M NOT IN THE UNITED FUCKING STATES RIGHT NOW , I CAN DRINK HERE , I HAVE DRUNK A LOT AND GOTTEN DRUNK TOO (bc mom lets me do it :3 , usually on december 31st *baby smile* ) BUT I 've never tried pot . I've tried shisha , tho . It was "meh" . But that does not matter now , the question is HOW THE FRICKITY FRACKITY AM I GONNA SLEEP TONIGHT ? Sleep is overrated. Time to dance like a mofo !!!       |

I think if you want a sit-down concert, one should go to classical music or QE! I think everybody can enjoy whatever kind of concert they want to go to and not have to pass on one because they can't stand the whole time. Sitting in the balcony levels you can still enjoy the electricity and energy of the concert like those who can endure standing the whole time. It's one big 'standing and sitting QAL Par-Tay' that everyone can enjoy! Thank you Adamrocks!! I was very offended by that comment.  Felt as though I was being chastised. |

I think everybody can enjoy whatever kind of concert they want to go to and not have to pass on one because they can't stand the whole time. I was smiling at the discussion before, because when you watch me in concert you won't know I am a fan apart from the T-shirt. I am all quiet, no movement, no dancing, mesmerised by the performence. If I can, I tape - chairdancing is good for that, no big movments . otherwise I am just ..... frozen and still and happy and in awe .... I have the time of my life, but watching me you wouldn't know ... I bet I am not the only one ... |
