People in the lower level side areas are going to be very close to the action. Feeling rather emotional tonight (doesn't happen often) thinking about all those of you on your way to Chicago. I think the 'Once in a Lifetime' Summer will be just that - and it starts tomorrow night!!

I know that it is hard to look away from Adam, but play this once more, and try to just look at Brian this time. It is such a joy to see him play. And I love their love of music so much!! I just did that and interestingly, that brought Roger into focus as well and there is a 3 way thing going on there..and Roger is mostly watching Adam...but the fun thing is that Roger is singing in a different language altogether...he is singing Drum-ese...he is clearly vocalizing his drum strokes which are quite different from the lyrics and their 'meaning'...where in a sense, Adam and Brian are using the same language....look for that now....this is a great vid for this sort of perspective. eta...I am madly packing and organizing as my vacation starts tomorrow morning and culminates in my only QAL show, Vancouver. I hate this packing process but can't wait to get on the road....lol. so excited... eta2 and notice that Adam moves up and towards Roger when his rhythm moves the song into disco-land....invites Roger closer into the circle sort of...

So what are people's thoughts on the Rolling Stone article? Is he being too much of a perfectionist on his own music. When do you think we will get a single?

It's who he is and that will never change. I just hope achieving album perfection doesn't take toooooo long this time. ETA-no intermission? OMG!!! How in the heck can they hold up to do this long, intense show with no intermission? ???

Judging by some of the stories about how Queen (Brian in particular) layered the music on the tape for their albums, etc., my guess is that Brian and Adam are cut from the same cloth... If they were to record something, or produce a DVD, they may need someone who says, "Stop! That's good enough!!"
