I didn't have to reset my password every time I login. Sorry, I don't understand? Maybe those high tech people can help? I have a new comp and I'm starting to suspect that this is the reason. Do you have to choose a new password (reset) or do you have to log in with the same password as always if you try to get on Atop? If it's the second problem, you probably have changed preferences in your browser (e.g. no cookies). Does that help?

talon, I don't understand how Bri and Roger could put on a show by themselves without a singer. How would that work? And I really don't understand how many Queen fans don't respect Bri and Roger or hold them in high enough regard to accept their choice of frontman. I read some really ugly comments about them that took me by surprise. I think Glamberts have also adopted Roger and Dr Bri into the fold and get almost as upset by negative comments about them as we do about Adam. We're a protective bunch (as most fandoms are).

Tom Chaplin and Keane are great. But he has his own band. You've reminded me, I need to dl "Somewhere Only We Know" Melliemom good point. Oh I agree...that's why there's no chance... GREAT tune.... AND I also agree with melliemom - it shouldn't bother you guys anyways. QAL is happening and it's going mostly well and he is winning some new fans so just enjoy! Yes Chaplin is great better than George Michael who is overrated. Also according to wikipedia "Keane are taking a break after the Best Of to pursue their own projects."

My family all watched that performance on TV and that's who they all want fronting Queen. It really was awesome as heck and I love Keane. His version of Under Pressure is great too, he's actually the only guy I've heard nail that bridge falsetto live. Well and this other guy called Adam Pascal but he's not a big name.

I had to laugh at the description they used regarding the audience diversity......it's quite a change being refered to as 'younger Glamberts'! [looks up.... why aren't the smilies working for me today???] trying again:

My impression from reading on that Queen site is that most of the members would rather have any singer in the whole world who is not named Adam Lambert. I think much of their Adam hate comes from their fear that some Queen fans will actually like Adam, as if that would take anything away from Freddie. Like, if we tear down Adam Lambert, Freddie will be elavated. It's juvenile thinking to me, but reading such hatred of Adam made me sad. Just put up your FORCE FIELDS....We are always going to get Drama Drama Drama with some of the 'Queen died with Freddie' butt hurt Queen fans! So if they don't go experience these amazing gentlemen on stage..it's their loss. Not all Queen fans are like them. I don't want to read their irrational hurtful rants. I think they might fear the talent of AFL will take away from Freddie's legacy. But in actuality Adam and Queen are bringing new fans to Freddie by the respect and homage these gentlemen on stage always show Freddie. I feel Freddie's energy is right there up on that stage never forgotten but appreciated even more with the new Queen fans now listening to music he composed and performed with Brian and Roger. I really don't care what they say anymore. I'm having too much fun, as Adam said on the last night of the mini concert tour in Hammersmith , "Loving the legendary music that is Queen".

As for who else. There would be names that they would be interested in. Tom Chaplin from Keane (who did a unanimously praised rendition of It's A Hard Life): My family all watched that performance on TV and that's who they all want fronting Queen. It really was awesome as heck and I love Keane. His version of Under Pressure is great too, he's actually the only guy I've heard nail that bridge falsetto live. Well and this other guy called Adam Pascal but he's not a big name. Who ever Tom Chaplin is he is no Adam Lambert. Not even close.
