Please, can someone tell me why every time I want to login on forum I must reset my password? Does anyone else have this kind of problem? I was having that problem quite a while ago - can't remember the exact circumstances. Then the pathway I was using to get to Adamtopia wasn't working temporarily, so I used another and my problem went away. I am now using www.adamtopia.comI also find that tho I don't use my cellphone very often for this site, I am always signed on there. I don't understand a LOT of this tech stuff (understatement!). If you have a new computer, are you allowing it to save your passwords? Good luck...  |

If I have to read one more word about Adam not being credible or worthy enough here of all places, I'm going to cry, for real. I don't care who said it, where, or why, I just don't want to read it here. It hurts me, and it's not nice.
That Chaplin guy majorly sucks, by the way, completely objectively speaking. The thirty seconds I gave him was thirty seconds too long.

My family all watched that performance on TV and that's who they all want fronting Queen. It really was awesome as heck and I love Keane. His version of Under Pressure is great too, he's actually the only guy I've heard nail that bridge falsetto live. Well and this other guy called Adam Pascal but he's not a big name. Who ever Tom Chaplin is he is no Adam Lambert. Not even close. Now Tom Chaplin fans are going to be really upset and have to start a ALD  I joke! talon, I don't understand how Bri and Roger could put on a show by themselves without a singer. How would that work? And I really don't understand how many Queen fans don't respect Bri and Roger or hold them in high enough regard to accept their choice of frontman. I read some really ugly comments about them that took me by surprise. Well a few ways. Most likely it would be a more intimate gig and probably more of a storytellers. Brian has fronted his own solo tour - Roger has fronted his own solo tour (and with The Cross). They (and me) would see them splitting vocal duties. I mean there a ton of Queen songs (especially from the early album sung by Bri and Rog) and admittedly the set lists would have to be altered and taking away some of the really difficult songs...but it could be done. It wouldn't be done with the same spectacle but could be fun. Quick setlist (not in order) off the top of my head from songs they have sung live... Radio Ga Ga - RT I Want To Break Free - RT I Want It All - Brian/RT Hammer To Fall - Brian/RT Love of My Life - Brian '39 - Brian WWRY - Bri/Rog Tenement Funster - Rog Under PRessure - Rog/Brian I'm In Love With My Car - Rog A Kind of Magic - Rog FBG - Brian Headlong - Brian Now I'm Here - Brian Say It's Not True - Roger Sail Away Sweet Sister - Brian Show Must Go On - Brian Best Friend - Brian And there are other songs they could do...as well. Not to the same degree or as well as Adam perse...but there is an authenticity to it as it's their songs...like Bob Dylan - not a great singer but his songs so it works... |

Yeah I have not heard one person slagging off Chaplin and that performance. Uh-oh. HA! ok...there's a first for everyting I don't mean to upset you aleks...at all. I like Adam I also like Tom I like a lot of singers...except that damn Freddie...he was the worst F him... |

Talon......Who in your opinion would these Queen fans consider more worthy then Adam to tour with the remaining members of Queen? Just curious. My impression from reading on that Queen site is that most of the members would rather have any singer in the whole world who is not named Adam Lambert. I think much of their Adam hate comes from their fear that some Queen fans will actually like Adam, as if that would take anything away from Freddie. Like, if we tear down Adam Lambert, Freddie will be elavated. It's juvenile thinking to me, but reading such hatred of Adam made me sad. First for fotm - NOW who's generalizing I don't agree with that assumption. I think they don't like that he's American, that he comes from reality TV, and they don't like some very OTT Glamberts who push them down their throats. IT's a bad combination of all 3. Not saying it's right, but I don't think it's a fear thing....I truly don't/ As for who else. There would be names that they would be interested in. Tom Chaplin from Keane (who did a unanimously praised rendition of It's A Hard Life): George Michael would be somewhat liked (not by me mind you) Muse's Matt Bellamy would be well liked, I think. BUT I think a Brian/Roger show by themselves would be most well accepted by the fanbase. That would be my first wish too...and I do like Adam quite a bit and am happy to see them together! BUT for me a B&R show would be phenomenal - as it's the most purely Queen I could get. Some people would like Marc Martel to sing for Queen. I've heard Justin Hawkins mentioned as well. But as others have said... Not sure it does any good to dwell on the negativity from the disgruntled Queen fans. Everyone has their own personal opinion, and as Brian May has said, Queen + Adam is what they (Brian & Roger) want to do... It's here for the fans who agree. Those who don't can stay home & listen to their Queen albums. |
