I had to laugh at the description they used regarding the audience diversity...... it's quite a change being refered to as 'younger Glamberts'!Isn't it great?!!

I've had a few conversations with him online and he really is a great down to earth guy. He has great insight but is the consummate professional. I wished he was going through the whole tour!

Guys, remember when before Queen concert in Wrocław on one of polish Queen forums I was treated like trash? And I was one of them for few years, not someone new. I took a lesson from this - I will do everything in my power to never be that kind of a fan. I will never try to take the freedom from artist, I will never say that his art should be put on pedestal or buried with him, I will never say that he should retire because I don't like what he is doing with his own art, I will never say that he is to old, that he is doing this only for money, I will never dictate with who he can collaborate and with who he can't. I can only have wishes, but not demands. Entitlement and bitterness take everything what is good in being a fan of someone from you, and you know what? Nobody forces you to be a fan of someone who you don't approve of so why are you lose so much time on whining and criticizing? IMO this kind of thinking is making you an owner and artsit a slave, are you really want to be someone like that? So, I stopped to worry about them long ago, I'm just making sure that I am not one of them.

The big question would be...what version? The QAL live version? Or the Queen version with Freddie. I would think quite honestly that it would be the first single off the new album. QAL playing it now is just to promote it. There's the possibility that they would release the live one in front of a bluray/CD of one of these gigs...but I'd bet on the prior. I WOULD bet on a live bluray/DVD though...and I would NOT bet on Vegas to be honest. If they are going to release a show, they are going to want to release one that includes the giant set and all the frills....*I* would bet more heavily on MSG or perhaps the Forum, especially as they are close to Brian's heart... I agree on both counts! 1) The single will be the album version = Freddie, and the tour is used to promo 2) IF they record anything for release it will NOT be LV, for the reasons stated above. I'd bet on MSG as well. Just to repeat, as I posted earlier from my cell phone & the formatting was weird. The woman who spoke with Brian answered me and said in response to who she understood would be singing: "Adam, I think, since we weren't talking about Freddie or Queen Forever at the time. (Had to give my peeps a chance to chat with him, after all, lol.)" We have to wait to see how it all pans out. But interesting "exclusive" she shared.

Yeah I got that however - I think in Brian's head it all flows together so he didn't have to be talking about Freddie or QF, he's talking abotu the song...and if it was going to be a single it was a Queen single...so to me I think it's quite possible that w/o mentioning Freddie Brian was still talking the studio version with Freddie. It's also far more logical...

"To be fair it's not that they want them to retire. They want them to continue working on archival releases, new solo music, new music together, or touring with someone they consider more worthy...Not much different in your eyes perhaps, but subtly different " Perhaps the slightly more reasonable feel that way, but I have seen comments (unavoidable on You Tubes) that DO believe Queen died with Freddie and Brian and Roger are money grubbing old men! << Ya, I actually read that! One of the funniest comments I read on a You Tube was, "This is nothing more than a money grubbing scheme to appeal to and sell their music to a new younger audience!" I thought, OK, and the problem with that is what, exactly?! LOL!! I'm a few pages behind so maybe a day late and a dollar short, as they say, but... Have any of these naysayers said who exactly is more worthy? I don't recall seeing any suggestions for who they'd rather have. I'm trying to avoid the negativity, but from the comments from "purists" that I've seen, if Adam does anything (e.g. KILLER queen), it's "too campy" (really?? Freddie never did anything campy??); if he plays it straight and flat-out slays a ballad, he's not moving around enough. Can't f-ING win! So who would these people rather see take on the lead singer role? (This is sort of a rhetorical question, not meant to bring down the tone, just venting!)
