I spend as much time on Queen fanboards as I do Adam boards -- and for every negative post about Adam, there are several positive posts. It is a great ratio.
There is a difference between the real Queen fan posts and the Adam hating trolls who post on YouTube and Yahoo and news articles. They are just trying to stir stuff up.

I have a new comp and I'm starting to suspect that this is the reason. I don't have to reset my password but I can't remain logged in....it's weird. I've never had to reset my password, and I prefer to just stay logged in all the time... but after a week or two of being logged in, ATOP kicks me out and I have to sign in again for another week.

talon,
I don't understand how Bri and Roger could put on a show by themselves without a singer. How would that work?
And I really don't understand how many Queen fans don't respect Bri and Roger or hold them in high enough regard to accept their choice of frontman. I read some really ugly comments about them that took me by surprise.
Well a few ways. Most likely it would be a more intimate gig and probably more of a storytellers. Brian has fronted his own solo tour - Roger has fronted his own solo tour (and with The Cross). They (and me) would see them splitting vocal duties. I mean there a ton of Queen songs (especially from the early album sung by Bri and Rog) and admittedly the set lists would have to be altered and taking away some of the really difficult songs...but it could be done. It wouldn't be done with the same spectacle but could be fun.
OMG!!! HOW BORING for Roger and Brian. Would true Queen fans really want to relegate such magnificent musicians to such a life. Anyone who thinks they would be happy doing "intimate" gigs, go back and watch the Stone Cold Crazy video they posted on Queen Official. Look at their faces.......pure bliss. Roger is making those drums speak and Brian is making his Red Special sing. Look at the run Brian performs down the neck of his guitar....Listen to that sound!!!!
I saw a video of an interview with Freddie and (I'm paraphrasing here since I can't find the video) and he says any musician who tells you he would like to play small, intimate gigs is not telling the truth...we all want to play to the biggest crowd we can.
These two men are musicians and they want to play before the biggest crowd they can...and if they had found someone before Adam they would have done it. This Adam fan is just glad they chose him.

Make sure you check the box that says "Remember me" when you log in. Make sure you log in with only one tab opened to Adamtopia.com. Once you are logged in, you can open more tabs and all will be logged in.

For me, Adam has the power and the vocals and the stage presence to make the tour contain the magic Brian and Roger demand for it. I think Brian and Roger trust he can deliver for them, and the reviews seem to support that most people agree. But I also think that a major part of what Adam brings to the table for B and R is all of his phenomenal ENERGY-- his physical energy, his energy on stage, his stamina, his work/practice energy, the FUN of his energy and his positive personal interaction energy. People who work with Adam love working with him because of that. Many singers/front men are "no Adam" in that way.
It is hard to generate all of the energy an extended tour demands day after day without the right mix of personalities, especially as you get older, when no matter how much energy you have, you still don't have quite the same levels of energy you had in your maximum energy years. Adam infuses Brian and Roger with energy. (He infuses me with it as well, lol.). They drink his blood, as they joke. He gives them new life, energy-wise. Creatively, there is nothing better than working with someone who is a catalyst for that. That energy plus that talent- that is why there IS a tour. As a fan, I am grateful for that. No wonder the atmosphere is one of joy.
