My "bad luck" to "good luck" review of Texas concerts:
This really hasn't been my year in a lot of ways so when things went south at the Houston concert, I wasn't surprised although I was surprised at just how badly things went south. I must have been the most unlucky person at that show. Anyway, what happened was that I had a front row seat in the first section above the floor and thought it would be a great seat but that wasn't the case. I couldn't see a thing with two glamberts sitting next to me who got majorly drunk and were swaying and blocking my view the whole time. I literally pushed one of them back twice and it didn't even phase her. So what I did was attempt to go get my husband's seat on the other side of the arena but the ushers (whom my husband called the gestapo) would not let me go get him. I tried texting him but the texts were going through in that arena for some reason and I failed at my attempt to change seats with him. I headed back to my seat on the other side of the arena while missing the beginning of the concert and dropped my ticket along the way. Well guess what happened next. The gestapo wouldn't let me back in my seat without my ticket so I had to go to customer service which I never found but some nice workers helped me talk the gestapo into letting me go back to my seat. By then I had missed four or five songs and was royally pissed the rest of the night. I couldn't see anything and had missed a lot of the concert so my night was ruined. My husband felt terrible for me because he didn't care about the concert but had a perfect seat. Needless to say, I was devastated but we headed on up to Dallas the next morning and I was worried the whole time because I had a seat just like the Houston one for the Dallas show. Low and behold, a huge man and his very huge wife blocked my view once again but this time I was lucky because four seats behind me in the second row were never taken so I moved to the aisle seat and had a great view all night. That made up for my horrible Houston experience and the show was so amazing in Dallas. I had nothing to compare it to since I hadn't watched any videos and missed so much of the Houston show but I new something special was happening that night. Adam was on fire as were the rest of them and the crowd was amazing. It was a very diverse crowd with lots Queen fans and many interesting people some of whom looked familiar but couldn't place them. They may have been celebrities. Anyway, the crowd went nuts before the encore and the whole arena was lit up with people's phones. I think my favorite part of the show was Adam's call and response. It was just so amazing and adorable and everything else. That boy is just so amazingly talented and gorgeous and he just shines like a brilliant sun bathing everyone in his glorious talent. My bad luck had turned into good luck with those four empty seats behind me in a very packed arena and I had a wonderful time that made up for my horrible experience the night before. I bought that Dallas ticket on a whim one morning as if I must have had esp that I was going to need to see another show after Houston and boy was that esp right because I would have been miserable if I had gone home after the Houston show. Anyway, it all worked out and from what I'm reading here, Dallas was a really great show compared to the others so far, so I'm happy I bought that ticket on a whim. That's all folks!!
