I partly disagree. It's a very positive review as far as Adam's concerned. Consider this quote from it: "On Somebody to Love, Lambert’s vocals ascended into the stratosphere and he sent a clear signal that, while he worships at the altar of Queen and original members Brian May and Roger Taylor, he doesn’t necessarily have to play fill-in frontman. He just wants to." In other words, this guy believes Adam is ready for icon status and has all the skills he needs to take his career anywhere he wants it to go. What's incomprehensible to me about this review is the guy's lack of appreciation for Brian's musicianship. I get that he wasn't a fan of the nostalgia aspects of the show. But my God! He had the chance to catch a live performance by one of the most accomplished, most soulful, most technically brilliant guitarists in the universe, ever, and he's like, meh?! Bizarre. I tend to agree with the reviewer on most points on this one. I think the front half is much better than the 2nd half (they really need DSMN in there) and like the reviewer (and unlike Q3) the middle time seemed more of an intermission than an act in itself, and that 10 minute guitar solo is wanking overlong for me. In fact WWTLF gets lost there for me. On the other hand my hubby really liked the solo while I thought it put everyone to sleep. The reviewer does say that others may like parts like the solo better than he did and from my angle that's pretty fair.

I was tapping one foot ,while listening at home and then just decided to get ready for bed..He's an amazing musician but too long a play just seemed excessive . I also missed Adam.He was off stage in what seemed to be an eternity.

Yes, I like the whole show -- and I do not think the middle is like an intermission. But I am an Adam and a Queen fan -- and I am a huge Brian May fan. I have seen the show 3 times and left every time with the Adam fan-side happy and my Queen fan-side happy. Can't ask for anything more than that. >> My only little tiny, tiny wish is for a funkier version of ABTD and for that it would need to be moved out of the hard rock set, where it does not belong IMHO and is getting lost. That is a nitpick, fan wish, whatever. >> My only BIG wish is that John Deacon would come out of retirement and play with Brian and Roger one more time. Maybe in London -- and play the two most amazing Queen basslines -- ABRD and UP. Heading to Detroit tomorrow! as the summer of Q+AL moves on!

Half the Auburn Hills new batch of floor tickets are gone. Very pleased they sold this one out! It is the biggest venue on the entire tour. Q3 - How big is this venue?

Interesting technical detail for those who care about lighting and audio-video. While watching this video, www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltlz-GH0k70#t=113notice how the big screen is trimmed to the shape of the Q and as it is lowered for SSOR, it SLOWLY removes the oval to produce a rectangular image when the Q reaches horizontal position about time code 2:10! It is so smooth it is barely noticeable. Kudos to the video people!
