The lines at "doors" though, for this tour, has shown that many people are showing up for the "doors." Concerts always have a "doors" and a "start time." As far as I'm concerned, people who show up 10 mins before need to get whatever consequences they get. But, just speaking logistically for any concert, 1 hour is not enough time to get that many people into an arena. Anyway, a 30 min to 45 "late" start is pretty normal! My longest wait has been for Bruce Springsteeen. 70 mins and I was pissed! LOL! The wait for GNT at Musikfest was @ one hour and ppl were pissed. One guy was so angry he sat down, crossed his arms & hardly looked at the stage the entire concert. Really childish, petulant behavior. Having said that I'm a little concerned what the people I'm bringing will think if there is that long a wait. I warned them lol.

Kudos, LindaG23, for having proved once again that a picture is worth a thousand words. Having progressed to my coffee, after seeing your wonderful witty image, I am Simon.

Grab a drink, something to eat, sit down and enjoy people watching!

I am still laughing, Linda! That pic will pop into my head all day and I will giggle! It is truly a "picture that speaks a thousand words!"

I've said before that I didn't understand why people arrived so early and stood in line for an hour when there is assigned seating. Now I know that some people get there early for the merchandise lines, or maybe for drinks and food. But what consequences do you see for arriving 10 minutes before (I assumed you meant) starting time? Or maybe I didn't understand you correctly, always a possibility. Like I said, just curious.

There will be less of a line at the door. But traffic, parking, restroom, and food lines are usually terrible. Which could make those people late for the show start. But I am used to LA traffic so maybe not as bad other places.

Oaky, thanks, gotcha. I was thinking of las Vegas, where I was staying at the venue. I can see how having to get to the venue adds another whole wrinkle. I guess for me, (a wee bit OCD) I would plan to arrive at the venue early to circumvent the traffic and parking problems, but wait to actually get to the door till later. Maybe the interim would be a good time to stalk the trucks?

So many memories associated with that song, thanks. And now I really really mean it, off to the real world.
