I confess. I completely and totally adore both of them madly. They must knock heads so hard sometimes. I wish I were a fly on the wall to see how they work things through. Some major tongue biting moments, I imagine, on both sides. Two mighty strong spirits together. Both perfectionists it seems. Both are magical, joyful, charismatic, free-spirited, and deeply kind. I've grown to adore Roger as well! Love his interactions with Adam. Their duet is pure pixie dust for me. |

Cassie, can you please help me out here? Appreciate all your patience! At ~5:25, on the word "to," Adam pulls the mike away from his face, but his voice continues. Is the video off? Can his voice be picked up by the mike that far away? Is is what they call a backing track? Just wondering if this might be the source of the critic's comment about back up tapes. Thanks in advance.

So much detail, but so well written, and now I have an new 800 page tome on my plate along with all the Adam stuff. (Diana may have to wait a bit.) Anyway, I read your Philly recap and LOVED it - all three parts!  I always enjoy your posts, and hope you will write another for Merriweather.
