Thanks, aleks. Loved this part of that review, as one of the things I am most enjoying about these performances is Brian and Roger's obvious joy and pride for Adam, and the fun they are having that is, IMO, so apparent. I wish more of the reviewers would comment on this. Also plays to credibility. if the original members of Queen love this boy, that should count for a whole lot. It is THEIR band, THEIR legacy, after all.
I haven’t seen an audience respond to someone like that in a long time. Being the ‘new guy’ I thought he’d have to try to win us over, but he connected with us fairly early in the show. There were times you’d just catch May smiling at it all, almost like a proud papa or maybe thought that Freddie would have approved.
