No, no, no:))) Everything is just fine, including those gentlemen's asses, I'm sure:) ( I had such an embarrassing impulse to ask Chapf to make us a convenient buttplugged ass gif, it would be sooo handy; but Chapf is a fine lady and I don't want to corrupt her with my devilish ways) In fact, it's more than fine, it's perfect, actually. At least in my head:)
See, it was all getting a bit overwhelming for me, since my prime concern has always been his music. I was thinking that he couldn't be that good with Queen, that it wouldn't be good for him to be too good - because, even though it's hard to believe, there is even worse comparison than the one to Freddie, and that is to Adam himself. I was thinking that that could happen, when A3 comes out, that Adam would have to endure the most unfair comparison of them all. I wouldn't want that to happen.
But, luckily, he gets to be THAT good with Queen, and I have a feeling that the occasional crappy review, occasional bad opinion, are not that bad a thing, if we look at the big picture. Somehow, they help me deal with my already blossoming A3 freak out:))) They are seldom enough and not serious enough to put a real damper on my feelings re QAL. They are so picturesque in their negativism that they feel like caricatures of reviews, like stand-up comedy material.
So, what can I say:) In spite of all the QAL glory, his words at the very end of Liam's interview, spoken with such conviction and gusto, that A3 material is "really fucking good" are my top news of the era.

instagram.com/p/qmZa67r8U4/bluejupiterband2 hours ago · Madison Square Garden Queen + Adam Lambert blew us away. Here's our review of the night. Probably most of us are thinking "well, it's our last chance to see some of the members of Queen...don't screw this up for us Glambert!" On the contrary, Adam Lambert was STELLAR. High notes fall out of his mouth with ease, he's charming, zany and dare I say...reminiscent of Freddie. High part of the concert: "Who wants to Live Forever". Truly wonderful to hear some of the most favorite guitar licks played live by Brian May, and Roger Taylor still has his drum chops. Smart move to bring in his younger heartthrob son, Rufus Taylor. Last song...Lambert enters in a leopard suit and a crown bedazzled in jewels. We all want to be him when we grow up. #Queen #QueenForever #QueenMSG #AdamLambert #AmericanIdol #wearethechampions #acappella #bluejupiter #wewillrockyou #follow #HappyFriday

CANNOT WAIT TO SEE QUEEN +ADAM tom night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Posted this in the New York thread. Reposting here. As a New Englander I personally apologize for whatever deeply misguided, snotty New England cultural life experience and education brought Mr. Jon Pareles of the New York Times to the point of this pathetic review. The irony is that he calls Adam's R&B melismas whiny and Adam's banter embarrassing, when his ENTIRE review is whiny and embarrassing, and, sadly and far worse, lacks an ounce of heart and soul. Why would the New York Times even have someone like this cover Queen? Time to get a new reviewer!! Jon Pareles didn't like Queen from the start. It looks to me like he is a member of the self appointed and stiffened social crusties who have been trained to believe that "real musicians" are not entertainers and to entertain is to be a whore. He wishes he had a tiny percentage of the fame of Queen. He does not enjoy the solos, or recognize the talent thereof and I am left to wonder how many have gathered to listen to Mr. Pareles' own flute or piano solos. Thank God Queen put themselves out there with these solos. They are absolutely gorgeous! And, even if everyone does not fully appreciate the beauty and level of musicianship, there are a great many musicians who do and will cherish these solos. I DO think that Brian May, whom I adore and believe has a heart of gold, is a very strong diva in his own right, and needs to be seen for his own amazing talent, and not as secondary to or in the shadow of Freddy in the band called Queen. He has given his life and blood to this band and he will NOT be placed in the slightest way in the background. Queen ARE rock royalty. And Adams deep deference has become part of the act because Freddy/Queen fans have needed to know that Adam worshipped Queen too. Adam responds to the needs of the audience and he responds to the diva needs of Brian, I think in particular, in a very respectful way, in the same way that they respond to Adam and his choices in a deeply respectful way. There would be NO show without divas! THANK GOD FOR DIVAS!!!!! To say that Adam is a modest accessory is utterly and completely ridiculous. To state that Adam lacks the authority of Freddy is beyond the utterly ridiculous. Of course Adam lacks the fucking authority of Freddy. NO ONE CAN EXPECT ADAM TO HAVE THE AUTHORITY OF FREDDY with FREDDY's audience. This, along with the statement about Adam being deferential (as though that is a weakness) is just idiotic. Many in the audience are not responding to him for the very reason that he is not Freddy and are refusing to be disloyal to the memory and sing response to another lead. It is amazing how many DO respond! If Adam and the band held the expectation for Adam that he needed to sway the entire audience in the very manner and level of Freddy, Adam would end up hating the Queen audience. That would be an utterly ridiculous expectation. THERE Would be NO WAY HE WOULD WIN THIS. THAT WOULD BE A SET-UP for guaranteed failure. NO-ONE EVER WILL WIN THAT. And, let's be honest, many in the audience are men who will not respond to the authoritative requests of an openly gay man with a slightly higher voice because a lot of straight men are effing idiots that way. Hmm just curious what wikipedia has to say about Mr. Jon Parelesvs Mr. Adam Lambert
and Queen
Not that that means anything...

Btw, I've collected 64 reviews so far. 5 of them were negative. That's 92.19% / 7.81%

www.hollywoodreporter.com/idol-worship/queen-adam-lambert-create-magic-719632?utm_source=twitterQueen + Adam Lambert Create Magic at Madison Square Garden (Video)12:06 PM PDT 7/18/2014 by Michele Amabile Angermiller Lambert's dream of playing Madison Square Garden comes true.
Back in March, when the Queen + Adam Lambert tour was first announced, Lambert sat in the front lobby of Madison Square Garden and told reporters that playing the famed arena was a dream of his. On July 17, Lambert’s dream came true as he stood in front of a packed house that included View host Whoopi Goldberg, stepping in for the late Freddie Mercury on a summer night that Queen guitarist Brian May said was filled with “magic.” Standing behind a curtain and shrouded in a dark silhouette, Lambert seemed to take a moment to gather himself before unleashing his masterful vocal acrobatics on the opening number, “Now I’m Here.” It was a dramatic moment -the realization of a boyhood fantasy come true. When May asked the crowd how they liked “the new guy,” Lambert was greeted with cheers, to which he humbly responded, “Thanks, guys.” Powering through “Stone Cold Crazy,” and “Another One Bites the Dust,” Lambert was a vision in studded leather and sunglasses before changing over into a fabulous fringe number to vamp it up on a purple couch, fanning himself for “Killer Queen," taking a swig of champagne and spitting it out towards the front row. "Did I get you wet?" he asked, cheekily. "You're supposed to say, thank you!" His acting skills, showcased during his run on Fox’s Glee, really came into play during this number, and one can’t help but wonder if perhaps the American Idol alum may want to stretch those muscles with a return to Broadway? But it wasn’t all camp and costume changes. Lambert produced goose-bump-inducing chills as he led the Garden in the church of glam with the powerful, “Somebody to Love.” He traded vocals with drummer Roger Taylor (handling the David Bowie verses) for the band's hit, "Under Pressure" with muscularity and confidence. And Lambert was reverential of Mercury, sharing the stage with the icon via video screen on “Bohemian Rhapsody.” There were several stretches in the show that did not feature Lambert, including a poignant moment when May journeyed to a mini-stage at the end of the ramp for an acoustic “Love of My Life,” joined by Mercury on the oval video screen to finish the song. “Thank you for giving us the chance to come here and be rock gods again,” said an emotional May, as he shed a tear. The Queen + Adam Lambert tour continues throughout the summer, with a stop at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall on July 26. Watch "Killer Queen" below:
