Of course Adam lacks the fucking authority of Freddy. NO ONE CAN EXPECT ADAM TO HAVE THE AUTHORITY OF FREDDY with FREDDY's audience. Oh fifthhousesun I'm so sorry you can't go!!  Very kind. Thanks. Was thrilled you were at MSG. Sold tix though. Happy Buyer promised to sing Happy B-Day extra loud to Dr. May for me. And may all there enjoy the celebration as well. Was thinking that the NY Post review was so absurdly savage and the NY Times nuttiness so all about Jon Pareles making sure he kept his Kewl Kid Kard, that even if Adam's theatre background hadn't already inured him to reviewers, the comparison of two deranged guys with agendas to everything else - the crowds, the other starry-eyed reviewers, not to mention, no doubt the wise perspective of Brian and Roger on the value of other people's opinions - he has to be at least starting to feel that he is going to, basically, not care about - or not read - reviews again ever. |

Way behind in reading and following along, but I did write my own report back last night, and dropped it off in the Philadelphia thread just now. True to my reputation, I cannot write a fucking short post for the life of me, and so if you feel so inclined, grab a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and join me over in the PHL thread.
